Midlothian Public Library

We have lived in Midlothian since 2013 but have only been coming here to this library for the last year or two. The library is clean, organized and we love to use the hold system on their website. You can reserve a book and they will hold it for you to pick up.

Each time we have come inside, the place is very clean and the librarians have been professional, polite and all around wonderful. Our three kids are well behaved but energetic so I appreciate the patience shown to them too.

This is a lovely neighborhood library. I am thankful they are here and for their reservation system. We and our kids have borrowed so many books and have enjoyed reading them all. Check them out, and get reading :)

One of my favorite libraries. Nice organized selection. Clean facility with many programs. Mary is my favorite librarian. Always the best experience when she helps us.

Midlothian Public Library is a wonderful library with a great selection of books and neat appearance. Their associate Karla was kind, attentive and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Excellent service!

I have been coming to this library for several years now and everyone is great! The staff has always been and still is extremely respectful and helpful. The COVID pandemic has put such a damper on life and most activities we have enjoyed. I am a frequent library visitor and the pandemic hasn't stopped that. The staff will contact me if any materials from my wish list have come in and will automatically check them out for me. I don't have to walk into the library if I don't want to because they also offer curbside pick up. Sometimes I walk in just to say hi. I did just that yesterday!

Midlothian Public Library is a very warm, colorful and kid friendly public library. Upon entrance, I was greeted by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff member who was very passionate about the library and its offerings. I noted a lot of young people in the library taking advantage of the Lego building blocks area and a teen workshop taking place. The location, while not as large as some of the other libraries I have visited, is epic in height. They make good use of space and architecture. I also noticed a snack area with vending machines and tables out in an the open area. Thought that was very unusual, but good so parents or staff can keep an eye on young people grabbing a snack and eating at the snack tables. While I found it very nice to take advantage of the free WiFi, it would definitely be a place kids and teens would love!

My favorite library! Maybe I’m biased. Everyone here is so sweet and helpful. There’s plenty of fun, thoughtful programs to take part in. It is quiet and peaceful, with private study rooms and WiFi of course. They even have a micro pantry where you can take food and leave food. It’s truly amazing!

This is a great library with programs for the entire family. I have attended several of the adult forums and found them to be informative. I have also brought children for some of the kids programs, including Stem and just to play and read.
