Cow Shed Motel & Restaurant - Fox’s Pizza

Not sure of the hotel, but we stopped at this restaurant on our way through town and OMG it was sooooo good!!! The staff was so warm and friendly and the food was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend!

The location is very convenient and staff are always very friendly, service is usually quick at the restaurant and the food is always very tasty. I've never had any trouble, restaurant also offers delivery.

This review is based on the restaurant, my son and I went there for breakfast while washing muddy clothes from riding atv's on the trails. There is a laundromat across the parking lot (the only one in town by the way).
Breakfast was delicious. Joyce that runs the place is incredibly nice. Some of the kindest people you will ever meet are in this small town.

I'm giving the Cow Shed 5 stars because it IS clean, and very affordable. The rooms could be bigger, but that's not a deal breaker. I have a fridge, microwave, and cable TV. I like a very hot skin melting (not literal obviously) shower, and the Cow Shed delivers! If you don't mind an older out dated motel that meets all the needs at a great price, then this is the place for you!

I like this place. Room was nice, it has a restaurant, and a laundromat. Sat outside and had a few drinks with some of the workers who were staying there. And they have excellent breakfast biscuits in the morning.

Very nice ppl at the front desk and the pizza is pretty good…. For the price it is a good place to stay the night

Quaint and downhome atmosphere, very pleasant people, and most importantly, great FRESH food at Fox's Pizza. Best side salad I've had in WV so far!

All these bad reviews are BS. If you are here for trail riding all you need is a shower a bed and a place to relieve yourself. They have the best pizza in town, a place to shower, sleep and eat after a long days ride. If you want more than that you need to find another hobby. I’ve been riding WV trails for 40 yrs, used to have to camp out in the woods, no hotels or anything. This was long before Hatfield McCoy was ever thought of. If anyone needs more than this place offers, give it up you will never be satisfied. LOL

The rooms were outdated but clean and fairly priced. A weekend with access to the Hatfield/McCoy trails is what I was looking for and the motel delivered. UTV friendly parking. I will be back.

We stayed here for a few days, it's quite, a little older hotel you can tell. It was clean, the food was good, the drinks was good. Nice place.

Only place around for a couple of miles. They were serving breakfast and if you do not want breakfast they will fix other stuff on there menu. The food is good

Great place to eat, clean affordable rooms large secure parking lot. Family dollar & Laundromat on site. You can ride to the trails from here!

My aunts and uncles had to come to town on extremely short notice and the cowshed was very good too then and they were treated like family

Its small quiet and dont need a reserve on a room not like most places its a Gem in the rough lol

Have been missing Foxes Pizza since it was in Sophia, and its just as good as it always was. Definitely will be going back!
