Man oh man! I don't know if I can say enough. First off, the place is in a great location with tons of parking. The restaurant itself just has a great feel to it. Possibly the best thing, next to the food, was the people. Our waitress was GREAT! She just came right over and struck up a conversation like we were regulars. Then we got to meet the owner who was also friendly and very welcome. They told us about the events they have coming up and when are the best times to just come and chill. As for the food, I went specifically to try all the egg rolls and was NOT let down. They were all great and the tomato stack was next level. I can not wait to go back and try more and more!! 10/10

My wife, Daughter and I were passing through and decided to stop in at the Rusty Musket for dinner after a long day of traveling. I was impressed with the home atmosphere and welcome we received. We were treated like family. The owner has such a big heart for his customers and the community. The people in the restaurant took an interest in us wanting to learn about us and where we were from and why we were in town. The food was wonderful and large portions and the price was very good. I'm so glad we stopped! I wish it was closer to home.

It was our first time there and the owners treated us like they had known us forever! They were very nice and personable! Food was amazing! And huge portions! The pepperoni roll, shrimp, fried pickle chips and garlic parm wings were all excellent!

Visited WV from Massachusetts to ride the trail systems here. Stopped by this restaurant for lunch after a morning of riding, the food was AMAZING! The owners were so nice and gave us suggestions of things to do in the area, and also helped us plan our next trip back by recommending places to stay. If I lived closer I would eat here every week!

Staff was delightful and food was delicious. The baked potato soup was delicious, the fried green tomatoes were crispy, the handcut ribbon fries were fantastic and the pepperoni roll had a giant slab of pepperoni in it. Yum.

I’ve been coming to the Hatfield and McCoy trail system to ride for years and this is honestly the best place we have ever stopped! Best food I’ve ever had in WV! Don’t waste your time at Ryders Paradise, or outlaw bar and Grill, spikes dogs or the smokehouse. Make the trek to Mullens and you won’t regret it! Riff was the best server, full of personality, and on top of everything. He didn’t forget a single item and made some awesome recommendation for food and drinks. The food came out very quickly. We had a large group, so many of us shared a few items. The baked spaghetti 10/10, the pizza 10/10, the wings 10/10, the steak and cheese egg rolls were out of this world and they were freshly made/rolled! All of the sandwiches were phenomenal, we tried a few of them.

100% recommend this place and I’ll be back soon! It’s worth the extra miles to have a great meal while you’re on the trails.

The West Virginia Camaro Corvette Club was traveling through the area on our way to the Dragon Slayer Hwy 160 in Lynch, Kentucky when we decided to stop at The Rusted Musket for lunch. We are super glad that we did! The staff was friendly, the food was reasonably priced and tasted great. We will definitely be back in 2023 for our annual trip. We enjoy supporting these types of small businesses and this one is definitely a hidden gem!

Place is decorated and has a few tvs playing sports. Beautiful inside and out. Staff is 11/10 stars. Garlic Parm burger is top tier, fries were some of the freshest this state has to offer. I'll be back for sure.

Love the outdoor sitting area, Food was delicious! Definitely, try the cheese cake egg rolls! We loved the atmosphere, the accommodations, and the food! Can't go wrong at this place! You have to give it a try!

This place is AMAZING, don’t pass it up! The group I was with stopped here to eat while we were passing through town and I’m so glad we did! Rif and the staff are super friendly, the food is phenomenal and the prices are great. We had a fairly large group and didn’t have a long wait for our food, never had empty drinks, and everybody got exactly what they ordered. We ordered the tomato stack and the egg roll sampler as an appetizer, and the homemade balsamic vinegar on the tomato stack was delicious! I ordered the Walfredo and can definitely see why it is one of the most popular menu items, it’s so unique and good! This is by far some of the best food I’ve ever had. We will definitely stop in again!

We had a great time at The Rusted Musket tonight! Our first visit and definitely not our last. Staff was great. Food was delicious and the portions were huge. And the live band was awesome!

You cannot beat the environment in this small town. All of the staff is always so friendly and eager to assist. I’ve not ordered one thing that myself and the kids have not enjoyed. If you’re lucky enough to catch a live band while stopping in, you’ll see the true hearts of the locals shine bright. Both Nicki and Merrick run such a tight, yet enjoyable ship. From welcoming strangers, to seeing them engage with locals…you will feel like family from the time you enter until the time you exit. Overall, great service…great food…great environment.

I kept hearing about this place so I stopped in today. Had the Nikki said burger and it was fantastic! Will definitely be back again!

Food and drinks were amazing, atmosphere was great, awsome outdoor area, and the company was even better. My husband and I enjoyed our conversations with the owners and the locals. We highly recommend this little small town, family owned gem 💎. We will definitely be back!

Rusted Musket was amazing Rif was the best bartender server we have ever had. He treated us like family Had amazing suggestions on menu items. Family atmosphere with friendly environment.

They are supposed to be closed on Tuesday. We got there after 4 and they were going to close at 5:00. We ordered loaded fries and Shrimp! It was amazing! We can't wait to get them again next month! Hope the menu doesn't change!

Blown away. Rif’s customer service was above and beyond. I like seeing people who genuinely enjoy what they are doing. He explained things and gave awesome recommendations. The Walfredo and Shakedown are 10/10. We will definitely return.
