Awesome selection of ice cream! Cute shop with tons of neat food and home decor finds. We each tried two flavors of ice cream. We will definitely be back!

This place has hands down, the best milk I've ever had. I love that there are more non homogenized options out there! It's so much healthier and tastes way better. Thank you for being amazing!

Dan and Debbie's Creamy is a great hidden treasure! I just happened to drive by after getting my hair cut & decided to stop by & check it out. I was given a great tour & was able to see the progress in which the icecream & Cheese was made. As I was getting icecream a school bus stopped in for a field trip! I loved getting educated while enjoying awesome icecream! It's also close to the trail so I'll have to stop by on my next long bike ride or run.

This is a very cool place! The decoration is awesome. Some of the machines remind me of life on the farm. Homemade ice cream is very good and they sell lots of stuff.

Always a pleasant experience here. Cute little store with local items available. I've cream is always fabulous. Staffing is friendly and always helpful.

I spent part of my childhood close to here and took many trips to Vavra Lumber which is now Dan and Debbie's Creamery. This past week I flew in from Texas for a visit and could not resist visiting the Creamery for the first time. The sweet corn ice cream was absolutely incredible and we picked up two types of cheese plus some other goodies, all which were wonderful. The prices were reasonable and quality was fantastic.

On Saturday, before I flew back to Texas, I picked up some more cheese at the CR Farmer's Market (should have bought more). I also had the pleasure of meeting the daughter and son-in-law of the owners. I am already planning making some online orders.

A note of interest, sweet corn ice cream is the favorite ice cream in Singapore (they make an incredible ice cream sandwich with it).

I live in North Liberty and I came here during COVID-19. I was impressed with their cleanliness and they had a clear policy regarding how many outside should be in the store at one time. The two girls working there were very nice and helpful as it was my first time there. The ice cream was amazing! I got the bourbon caramel and ended up going back the next day to buy a half gallon of it. So delicious! Highly recommend the drive out there.

If you are looking for farm fresh ice cream then this is the place to come to when you're in Ely Iowa. there is a dairy in operation here and the ice cream shows the quality ingredients that they use. The taste of the ice cream is excellent and I would definitely recommend this place and come here again.

We have been frequenting Dan & Debbie’s (even though we live an hour away) ever since my husband discovered it earlier this year. Hands down the best ice cream place around here. Their Coffee Oreo is THE best. Strawberry Cheesecake comes a close second. Prices are also super reasonable. Highly recommend.

Best ice cream in the area. Creamy and rich! I especially love the birthday cake and coffee oreo. Well worth the drive/bike ride from cedar rapids or iowa city. I also love their other dairy products, milk, cheese, butter! You can also find a great selection of local-made foods, soaps, and gifts in their shop :)

Creative flavours and very creamy ice cream.

We visited while camping at Lake Macbride State Park with some local friends. They insisted that this was the best ice cream in the area and they were right!

I had the root beer favoured ice cream and it was like having a root beer float with every bite.

The folks were friendly and courteous and it wasn't too busy when we went at 5pm.

We will definitely stop here again if we're ever close to Ely, Iowa.

Loved the old fashioned cookie dough ice cream. Oreo coffee was also delicious. Great sized scoops, and quickly eaten! Lots of seating inside and outside. A special, tasty gem in Ely! Give it a try!

The day there was fun. they had lots of vendors, so it was fun seeing not only them, but others. I loved the alpacs brought in from alpaca fiber arts LLC.

I stopped over to pick up an ice cream pie for Thanksgiving but also left with eggnog, eggs, and fresh cheese curds. So many tasty foods to chose from!

I rode my bike from Cedar Rapids to Ely, just to have ice cream. This is a 2 scoop waffle cone! It was actually too much, but I ate it all. I said "something chocolatey", so she suggested chocolate chocolate chip and chocolate fudge! Oh my, it was sooooo good!

I cant wait to "ride for ice cream again.

We went for the great ice cream! I had coffee oreo and mint chocolate chip. There were lots of other choices too. It's a great bike destination.
