Dr. Shaffer and her staff are extremely caring and kind. I can always trust that when my babies are there, they are treated with love. They have changed to curbside since Covid, but the quality of service is still as amazing as before! They take their time to build their relationship with their clients and patients. I have never felt rushed, as they take their time examining/treating your babies and explain any diagnosis and treatment in great detail so you are never left confused. Dr. Shaffer is also very understanding of people’s situations and offers different treatment plans that works in the best interest of the families and their fur babies. Thank you Dr. Shaffer and your staff!!

We recently located to the Fort Worth area and needed a vet for our dogs. A search revealed Shaffer Veterinary services nearby and we decided to give them a try. A call to the office and request for an appointment was within the same week, amazing!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Doctor Shaffer is clearly efficient in her practice as once our animals went inside for their exam, a short time later Doc Shaffer was calling us with a diagnosis and solution. Glad we found Shaffer Veterinary Services!

Dr. Shaffer has been our kitties vet for several years. She is undeniably passionate about her call in treating animals/our babies! Over the years Dr. Shaffer has lovingly taken very serious care of our kitties in times of illness, the passing of one of our babies (kitty), and just regular health care in general. She is so kind and patient while answering any and all questions you may have about your pet's care. Her staff is incredible! No matter how busy they are...they make you feel as if your fur baby/animal's needs are extremely important to them! Over the years, even while on medical leave and struggling financially, there wasn't a time our kitties health needs weren't met by Dr. Shaffer! She offers affordable care that is absolutely PRICELESS!!! I am an Army Veteran and I've said many times...I wish Dr. Shaffer was my Veteran doctor (PCP and all specialties!:)...because the care she provides to our kitties has been hands down more diligent and superior than even my own medical care that I receive as a human!!! Thank you Dr. Shaffer and to all your veterinary staff! We don't know what we would've done without yall's care, all these years, for our sweet kitties!!!!

This place came to mind when my puppy pulled her own tooth out, got it stuck between her other two teeth, had a loose tooth, and needed an emergency pull. I had no idea it was curbside and it made me a little nervous but Dr. Shaffer got her right, gave us antibiotics, and even gave us the tooth back….all at an affordable price! other places were gonna charge us 2-3x for what we were charged ….. We may have just found our new vet!

Dr. Shaffer and her team were beyond amazing. I took my sweet 15 year old dog there and it was our first time ever visiting. You would have thought I knew them my dog’s whole life. They treated her with the same love and care that me and my family do and I couldn’t be more thankful. Dr. Shaffer understood that I couldn’t do all of the procedures at once, for financial reasons, and she didn’t make me feel guilty or judged. She was beyond understanding which is way more than I can say about any vet I have ever met. My pup seems to be feeling much better and I look forward to her follow up in two weeks. She also had all the medication in house and the prices were very affordable. Thank you so much, Dr. Shaffer.

I appreciate everyone who was involved with taking care of Kevin, my cat! I think it takes more than just taking care of the pet but taking care of the various needs of the owner. I appreciate their compassionate care for both of us, in times of distress. Thank you again!

10/10 experience. My dog has horrible anxiety from past vet visits somewhere else and the techs here, along with Dr. Shaffer, really put him at ease. For the first time in his life, he wasn’t shaking on the way home. She is so thorough with explaining everything going on and doesn’t rush you out the door. I never write google reviews but I’m so happy I went here and listened to everyone else’s praises.

My last vet was pretty good and I was mostly satisfied, but I wanted to find a place that was more affordable, but that maintained the level of care to which I and my pets are accustomed.

I have found my new vet.

Shaffer Veterinary Services has blown my last (really great) vet out of the water. They work to get you in soon if your pet needs it, they are gentle with your pets as they escort them into and out of the building, and they are SO much more affordable. One of the services I got pretty regularly at my last vet is HALF price--that's a fifty dollars savings for something I get done 4 times a year (at least). Nail trimmings are 3.50 less expensive (and they do a better job!). For four dogs, those nickels and dimes add up.

More importantly, though, is the treatment I have received by the staff and Dr. Shaffer. Alexus, Brooke, and Diana were so great with my critters, and Dr. Shaffer is so personable and thorough. The doctor (and her techs) explain everything thoroughly and patiently. They are compassionate, hard working, and my pets have no complaints.

If you are considering switching vets, please consider Dr. Shaffer and her team. The level of care (and affordability) I am receiving cannot be beaten. I wish I had switched sooner.

I’ve taken Rocky in 3 times and each time the staff was great…friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and not overpriced.

Dr. Shaffer has taken the absolute BEST care of our dogs (4). Recently we had one dog develop a mass on his underbelly. Dr. Shaffer got him in the next day, diagnosed the issue without extensive testing, prescribed meds and just a week later the mass is almost non-existent! You will not find a better Vet, one who’s loving, knowledgeable, and conscientious of your budget. I won’t take my pets anywhere else!

It was my 1st visit and it was so nice to be treated with friendly people who answered my questions and if they weren't sure they would go inside and find out for me as it is all curbside service . Dr. Shaffer called me and explained everything very well and is so warm and friendly. I am definitely switching from Banfield to Shaffer hospital.

Dr. Shaffer is a one-of-a-kind outstanding doctor! She has a very caring manner and will spend the time talking to me to explain treatment for my pet and answer any of my questions. Her rates are very affordable, which really helps! Her staff are always pleasant and friendly too!

Absolutely the best vet I have ever been to. Dr. Shaffer is knowledgeable, patient, kind, compassionate, and reasonably priced. Appointments can be easily scheduled and are quick but thorough. I recommend this vet clinic 100%.

Since four years ago Dr. Shaffer and her staff been taking care of my little girl, vaccines, physical and her tummy issues. I couldn't be more appreciative for the entire staff commitment to make my princess to be as comfortable and taken care of. No where to look anymore, Dr. Shaffer Vet Clinic is the one!!!

Dr. Shaffer and her staff are the best! They immediately got Peach in when I was concerned over his breathing. Dr. Shaffer was thorough and helped him. She treats Peach and every patient as if they are her only patient! I am so grateful to her and her staff for being so kind and patient with me and Peach! Thank you!
