Kroger Pharmacy

They are Wonderful! A very important medicine I take daily has been out of stock at my normal pharmacy for several Months! I even called a few others and they were out too and none had a solution. So I made sure Kroger was in my network and then called them about this medicine. Not only did they have 1 box they had a lot of the same medicine in a different form I had been looking for since last June.
Needless to say they went out of their way to help me get both types of same med through my insurance!! They now have all my business without question.

I see a lot of poor feedback, I never had a problem. Tom the pharmacist is being a great help on any questions I have. Today I got my prescription done while I was shopping. Don't believe all the bad reviews. If you have a problem talk to to Tom, he has always been curious...Tony

Kroger Pharmacy deserves much credit as to how far they have improved. My last three trips to Pick up my prescriptions have been very enjoyable. My meds have been ready or Pharmacist Cody has gone above and beyond to get my meds completed asap. In the past, I was having to make a minimum of 3 trips to get 1 script filled. Keep up the good work! I appreciate you!

Way to go, Kroger! Thanks for bringing up your standard with the new hire of pharmacy staff. Great hustle. Great positive attitude. Very fast and friendly. I'd rate higher if I could.

Previously would have rated them as a general 3 star pharmacy but the Pharmacist Chris, overheard my conversation with another employee and took care of me faster than ever. I appreciate the team and the help!

Pharmacy is horrible!

If only there was another pharmacy in Montgery that was fully stocked. I called to get a time sensitive prescription and was told the doctor hadn't sent it. I checked with the doctor, who tells me it is there but was kicked out of the system at Kroger. He sends the prescription a second time. I check the automated system on Monday and it tells me it will be ready on Tuesday at 3:30. I arrive to pick it up and guess what.....not only is it not ready, they don't even have the medicine to fill it and can't get it so I can take it at the correct time on Thursday. According to the counter person, you can't trust their system because the medications apparently aren't checked to see if they have them so they can fill them and my prescription that was supposed to be picked up on Tuesday would not even have been checked for medication availability until Wednesday afternoon. If you deal with, keep calling and calling until you get a live person as you can't trust the system!!!! The only thing that saves this place from being a 1 star is the place are the excellent pharmacists and the wonderful counter person Lucas who always go above and beyond to help.

Lucas called me back and explained what the problems were and how to avoid it in the future. I appreciate the fact that he always goes above and beyond to help. His tip was to call, press 0, press 0 and speak with someone as the system is not accurate at all.

Over the past three years, we have always had a positive experience with pharmacy staff.
When getting vaccines, the techs have been friendly and competent.
Only concern: when going to pick up a prescription, we are sometimes asked to wait twenty minutes while they fill it.

The wife and I have been using the Kroger pharmacy for the last few years...mostly because of the GoodRX partnership that makes our prescriptions much more affordable than CVS or Walgreens. During most of the time it has been such a frustrating place. Scrips never ready...long waits...being told scrips were ready then arriving to find out that's not the case. I truly disliked going here.

However, since the new pharmacy manager (Cody) has taken over it has gotten SOOOO much better. Cody is very friendly and helpful and our scrips have been ready when promised. Thank you Cody for turning this place around! Night and day for sure.

Slow as usual. It took 10 minutes to get my rx even after I got the msg it was ready. Also it they had a closes sign first visit. Had no clue it was for lunch nor a time they'd be back. Just can't understand why nobody knows how to provide good customer service. This has been going on the last few years. Other than one rx I drive further to heb and get regular rx's and great service

Good service by pharmacist when requested to speak to him about antibiotics

They used to open at 9am on weekdays now there not open till 10am, Whats up with that.? I think there the only Kroger in the country that opens at 10am on a weekday..My thought is that they have to many customers to handel and there understaffed. This is the worst managed Kroger pharmacy in the country, I'll be making a call to corporate.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I moved here one year ago in the Montgomery area have never been to a pharmacy that gives such poor customer service. You cannot even ask the staff any questions without them getting irritated that you asked them a question. It’s ridiculous. Don’t be customer service if you don’t want to help customer. Most the time when people are picking up prescriptions is because they have an illness or a family member has an illness the last thing that you want is someone to be hateful to you when you were going through unfortunate circumstances. There was one female pharmacist there, and she was always kind. I haven’t seen her in a while probably because no one took initiative on making the rest of the staff was empathetic to their customers needs. You even call to check on a prescription and they are hateful to you.
