In the last 12 years I have bought 7 cars. This was by far the best experience. The guys at Parkway Auto made buying a car as simple as buying a loaf of bread. I called to make sure the car I wanted was available, then went in to test drive it. The car was great but with a few expected flaws as it is a 13 year old car. As I pulled into the lot I had a number in my head that I was going to offer them. The only problem is he offered it to me for less than that right off the bat. So I bought it. No extra fees, no doc fees, only the price of the car and the taxes and fees the state wanted. Great guys here and a good car. I only wish I could rate them more than 5 stars.

Shane provided the most seamless and hassle free car buying experience ever! Would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a used car in excellent condition.

In my 57 years of buying vehicles, I have never had a better experience than at Parkway Auto Sales of Johnson City. Shane was genuinely friendly and helpful, no games, gimmicks, or pressure, no "gotta run this by my manager" charade, got exactly the deal I wanted without any hassle, paperwork was done very quickly and efficiently. I could not be more pleased, and I highly recommend without hesitation.

I've read some of the other reviews, and the negatives ones seem to be from people who were unhappy about the financing they chose, or some issue with the car after the purchase. Parkway makes it very clear that the vehicles are sold "as is" and without warranty. They do not handle the financing. If you want an honest deal on a used vehicle at a great price, you owe it to yourself to check out Parkway Auto of Johnson City. I'm certainly glad I did.

I have been buying cars since I was 18 years old, and I'm now 72. I went to Parkway Auto in Johnson City and met Shane and Doug, the salesmen. I found a perfect vehicle for me and they sold it to me for a very good price. Shane and Doug treated me very fairly, respectfully and I immediately felt valued as a new customer of theirs.
After taking the car home, the battery had died for an unknown reason. As soon as I called Shane the next morning to notify him of what happened he was immediately conerned and drove from Johnson City to my home in Kingsport to check out the problem. He boosted my car off, we went back to his car lot and he placed a brand new battery on the car for free. Not many people would go to this length to help a customer, but Shane did. I tried to pay him for his gas and his battery and he would not take it. And here's what he said, "You're my customer, and I'm going to take care of you". I truly believe this is how he runs this business day-to-day. I met Shane and Doug as salesmen, but I left there feeling like I had made two old friends. Thank you for everything you have done to make sure my car buying experience was the best to date! I would recommend these two good men to help you with any of your car buying needs.

Went to look at jeeps and ended up getting one. Very friendly employees and they don't try to pressure you into buying one. They take the time to answer all of your questions and point out the differences between each model. I highly recommend them for all of your vehicle needs.

We've bought 2 cars from Parkway, and have been very happy with them. I think Shane is very fair with negotiations. In a couple years we're going to trade the 2 we have now for 1 newer model. Hope Shane will go for that!!

Shane and his guys were of great help to me while I was in town to buy a car. I had taken an Uber up there to buy and had to stay overnight. They helped drive me to my motel in order to finish purchase the next day. Friendly group of guys and great deal on my vehicle.

Very laid back place to look at used cars. Shane is very helpful and in no way pushy. In comparison to other dealers I believe they have very competitive pricing. I would definitely buy a car from them in the future.

Maybe sounds like an oxymoron but Shane is an honest! used car salesman he'll tell you the problems the fixes anything he doesn't lie about his cars, he gives awesome deals and is so nice and will help you with anything you need! I just got my car from here for a hell of a deal and if I need another car down the line or when I do I would definitely go back here no problems! If you're looking for a car go here!
