Such a great place to stop. I stopped coming back from a Dr's appt. in Columbia to use the restroom and grab a snack and drink and i ended up looking through this entire store. Loved the mom and pop atmosphere, the attention to every customer, the attention to detail. This is a store that definitely brings back the good ole days, and they have everything... even the kitchen sink 😂 I literally think you could buy whatever you need there. There's a small community there and they all take care of their own (I use to be a Lawrencecountian too 😘) so when it rains hard or snows and people can't get to town, this store I the official store. Many people in this community have been shopping at this little rendition of Walmart their whole life. I vow to stop more and contribute to this place so that this community will always have this place.

They have everything you could need for your home... and then 10 more aisles of fix it stuff. Definitely ask for assistance, they really do know where everything is!

Danny, Kyle, Jamie, Mrs Clark are the best. It's Clark Mart alot better than Wal-Mart. If they don't have it, chances are it is almost impossible to find.

They are a kind and useful store. Almost any hardware item you could ask for, and all of the grocery essentials (milk, bread, preserves, etc.)

The people here are wonderful!! Always there to help...answer questions...and assist you in any way..The prices are great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly place to do their shopping..

Needed a gas line fitting for a propane wall heater. Not only had the part, knew exactly where it was. There is more here than Ace Hardware in Waynesboro I think.

This is one of the most unique stores / hardware supply depots you'll ever find on the roads of Tennessee. They have more items available than any Walmart you could shop at. Ruth makes the best sandwich money can buy. Their inventory alone is a sight to behold. Go check'em out when you're traveling along Highway 240 on the Turnpike in downtown Henryville. During the Civil War Confederate generals used the Turnpike to go from their encampment at the Tennessee river to stage "The Tennessee Push" and fight the battles just inside Franklin and Nashville Tennessee. A lady recalls in a history book that there was a single file line of troops traveled through Henryville for 11 hours non-stop. There was also a man that had drawings and a working prototype of a flying contraption in his barn he wouldn't let anyone see. When he died before finishing it his widow put this junky thing up for sale in a Nashville newspaper. A few weeks later two men from Ohio showed up and purchased the fully working machine. Some year or so later they showed the public from a runway just outside Kitty Hawk, NC how it worked. My point is this area is full of rich history and we must keep it alive through stores like Clark's Grocery. While you visit don't forget to purchase a sandwich.
