Its a disgrace that they would allow a town to change their name to Rocky Top just cause their town is run down. The only true Rocky Top sits up in the Smokies next to Thunderhead!!!

Definitely one of my favorite hikes! The fields are beautiful and the 360' view from Rocky Top is indescribable!

There was a mole living in the privy and a bear attack the night I stayed. Otherwise nice area.

Not much of a field or open area, so don't make the climb to just see this. Good place to meet other AT hikers
