Great place! The folks there were super friendly, quick service and it was a beautiful fall day to set outside and have some Mayfield Ice Cream!

Biggest share of Mayfield ice cream served by an ornery old man (we love) on rickety outdoor furniture. We love this place 0!!!!!!

Best ice cream I’ve had in years. The gentleman running the show is hilarious and we enjoyed talking with him. The drive to Tammy’s from Murphy was gorgeous. Drove a few miles after our ice cream to see Buck Bald. The road up to it is a little sketchy, but the view once you arrive is definitely worth it.

We have been going to Tammy's for years. I almost hate to share this little gem. They will reopen in late February or early March. They say it is the home of the big scoops, we have another name for it, "Death by Ice Cream". They make excellent recommendations and have flavors you don't find at the grocery store........try the Louisiana Praline Pecan it is so much better that Butter Pecan. They also have a wealth of local knowledge, Get a map of the local waterfalls, they are free and a great way to spend an afternoon in the mountains. Suffice it to say that we occasionally drive 80 miles one way just to get an ice cream and visit for a few minutes.

Every time I make it even remotely close to this area, I make sure to come here. (Often) Stopped even in the dead winter and got some ice cream. The owners are just as amazing as the huge servings of best ice cream you’ll ever have. Big thanks to this quaint little spot for just being everything you didn’t know you needed.

If youre in the area and you like ice cream. You have to check this place out. Always a pleasant experience.

**A STOP YOU MUST MAKE**
Its a cute small Mom and Pop shop. The ice cream scoops are worth making the stop. My girlfriend and I stopped for a quick bite of ice cream ended up staying about an hour. The owners and/or employees were absolutely they kindest and the greatest people to shoot the breeze with. They have a great little shop of nick nacks, creative and awesome lighting arrangements. Relaxing area to enjoy the ice cream as well. Worth every second. Going to return every time I'm in or around Turtletown, TN.

WE LOVE TAMMY'S! My husband and I come down to Georgia every 12 weeks and we always stop at Tammy's. You definitely get what you pay for and more. Our dog loves getting pup cups. She knows what's up as soon as we get there. All Tammy's flavors are delicious!

Nice little stop thru the backroads of East Tennessee. Enjoyed a delicious Pralines and Cream Waffle cone before heading home past the Ocoee River

Wow! This place is a must stop! The portions are so big, and the Salted Caramel Cheesecake flavor was so good... will be back, and I will add photos. It started to storm, and I wasn't able.

Wonderful Location. You can't beat the Quality of the Ice cream and Milk Shake. Quantity... So So much, definitely you will be ending up with leftover. After paying the bill itself, you will be owing something.... Great!!!

This is my favorite place ever! The ice cream scoops are HUGE! We travel from Knoxville just to get ice cream and to see Tammy and Jack, whom is the man that takes your orders EVERYONE is so friendly and kind! A great Lil Scenic trip to take! Bring the kids for Ice cream too!

Their ice cream is delicious and the people are so kind. My family of 4 were exploring our new city we now call home when we found Tammy's. We all were in the mood for ice cream and didn't expect what we were in for. We all got mediums, which were about 5 scoops, and only one of us finished. It was a hot summer day and there was a few other people there. All of us were just chatting. It was a very nice experience.

Oh my gosh, an ice cream oasis in the mountains! During a family reunion last weekend, 18 of us went on a hike and saw Tammy's bright yellow signs along the road. Getting to Tammy's after an unexpected 4 hour trek kept everyone motivated! And when we got there, we were overtaken by the SIZE of these scoops! After all the kiddos ordered smalls (three huge scoops), this mama got the sissy cup and didn't even finish. A great value for the money. But best of all, the experience was fantastic! Tammy's bright personality shines through and her passion for ice cream makes everyone smile. The yin and yang between Tammy and Mr. Tammy is hilariously entertaining. Thanks for adding some sweet and sass to our family weekend. We will see you next year!

While on vacation we stopped at this little wonder of the world. I was so shocked when we got our dish of ice cream. It was incredible you get extra large portions and the taste is out of this world. The owner is quite the comedian. We were so entertained. If you’re ever traveling through Tennessee this is definitely worth a stop. Thank you from Biloxi we really enjoyed our visit with you

Stopped by this cute ice cream shop with my friends on our way back from turtle town falls hike. Best ice cream place ever. Very big portions for an amazing price. Tammy and her husband were so nice and funny. Can't wait to go back!

My friends and I stopped by after hiking. The workers were all so sweet and friendly! The ice cream was amazing, and you get a really large portion for a great place! I will definitely be coming back in the future!
