Publix Pharmacy at Northgate Mall

Very nice personnel. I changed from Walgreens to here due to the folks being so helpful and nice! What a pleasant change. They are very helpful and willing to go a little over to help you. Medications seem to be a bit cheaper and they will work with other programs like GoodrX and manufactures savings cards without an issue.

My insurance changed my pharmacy in February. I have had Walgreens probably 40 years, starting in MN, then FL, and now TN. So, I was reluctant to change to Publix. Well, let me tell you, Publix in Tullahoma has been absolutely wonderful! They communicate well. They called me about a price on one of my prescriptions to see if ok. They respond quickly to renewals. I am pleased to now receive my prescriptions at Publix. Great service.

I have been to this Publix Pharmacy three times, my wife and I are truly blessed! My wife was treated very badly by several pharmacy around shelbyville and we were almost out of pharmacy until we found these people. You couldn't ask for a better bunch of people willing to help you out. Super nice and friendly and the service is unbeatable! Thanks for everything! Our Pharmacy is Publix from now on! Many thanks! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. They are a breath of fresh air for me. I have several severe disabilities primarily Cerebral Palsy & l couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provide.

Coming from someone who has worked in retail and hospital pharmacy for over a decade, I have been completely heartbroken by this pharmacy. I am the first person to understand being short staffed and dealing with patients who are not easy - but I have never had a good experience at this location.
The lack of empathy and communication is genuinely disappointing.
I opted to have my prescriptions sent here instead of Walgreens because this is our preferred grocery store. I wanted to drive in from Murfreesboro and make one stop before going home with unbearable tooth pain. Unfortunately, an antibiotic and pain med didn’t seem urgent to them, and I was told it would be an additional 45 minutes for the antibiotic only. Seeing as I had been in tears from the pain I could not wait another 45 minutes, I just needed some relief and sleep. Fast forward to the NEXT day, it took over 15 minutes of sitting on hold for the sweet customer service guy to physically walk back and get someone in the pharmacy to pick up, a very long phone conversation, 3 in-person conversations between my husband and I and finally over THIRTY hours to get both medications filled.
No matter how much I would love to give Publix all of my business, I can say this experience has been the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered and until I move near another Publix, I don’t think I’ll be doing or recommending any future pharmacy related business at this location.

Pharmacist literally tries to play gatekeeper when my prescription was called in by a physician. My doctor called back multiple times regarding the prescription and the pharmacist still says “we are waiting on the doctor to call.” After I advised my doctor has already followed up more than once I then questioned to ask what the problem was with filling the prescription, the pharmacist then responded: “Well, it’s on back order so we cannot order it.”. Denying someone their prescription because you feel like it, is unacceptable.

Pharmacy tells me to wait and get my medicine today then I come back 2hours later they tell me 1 more hour then they tell me one of the dates can't be filled till tomorrow so I have got to make a second trip across 2countes for the same medication so I'm not happy about being told that they can and then did not.

Always have an excuse for why prescriptions aren't ready hours after they are called in. This place is a joke.

Timing is awful. They say 10 minutes then take over an hour.
