The Vanilla Bean

We went Sunday for lunch. They have a small brunch menu on Sunday. Food was excellent as was our server. Also
Had a good coffee drink.

My daughter and I are traveling across the country. We were lucky enough to find Vanilla Bean! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly service! There are small cozy rooms along with curtained private alcoves.

I was treated to The Vanilla Bean via work relations and it was a neat surprise.

Passing through Alva on our way to a state park for camping, and stopped at Vanilla Bean for coffee. Was pleasantly surprised to see how well they are able to utilize their small space & staff. Cozy space and atmosphere. We were greeted with a full kitchen, bakery, and bar. Our party had the monte christo sandwich with house made mac & cheese that was to die for, tomato basil soup with bacon avocado grilled cheese, and a club wrap. We also got one of their giant, fresh made cinnamon rolls to go. Definitely recommend for a pit stop or a tasty lunch/dinner option.

So great we came back the next day. Would highly recommend for dinner AND breakfast! The bloody Mary bar and charcuterie are fantastic! So are the desserts. Most are made by the owners wife. We met the owner and he was so nice and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our visit here. Service, ambiance, food, I give all 5 stars!

Cute cafe and restaurant located on the highway. Tastefully decorated rooms inside and a spacious (covered) outside patio provide plenty of seating for large and small groups. Extensive menu for all day dining and a cute bar make this a great option while in Alva or traveling thru. Easy parking.

The Eggs Benedict are amazing!!! The steak was melt in your mouth. Loved everything!! My grandbabies were greeted by name. Staff was awesome!!

Go for steak night! Our filet, New York strip, and rib eye were so good. Home made Mac n cheese on point too.

I was blown away with my experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing.

We stopped on our way through town and were pleasantly surprised. It's a very cute and unique place. Our food was good, their selection of pastries is very good and our server was excellent.

Today was my first visit, I only had coffee, which was excellent. Very nice environment, looking forward to another visit.

This was a great stop for coffee! The iced mocha is AMAZING, legit better than Starbucks!! Cute, country and chic. We will definitely come back if we are in town again :))

Every time we've been there, the service is great, the food is great and the price doesn't break your wallet. Parking is the only thing that could be better.

We were in the local Walmart about lunchtime and asked Lynn the cashier where was a good place in town to eat and Lynn told us how to find The Vanilla Bean. So off we went, Lynn's directions were spot on. Love the old truck, it made The Vanilla Bean easy to find.
The staff was friendly and the spinach wraps were very good, my wife had the turkey and I had the club. If we ever back in that part of Oklahoma we will definitely eat at The Vanilla Bean. Thanks Lynn for the tip.

Best place to eat in Alva. Steak nights are the best. The whole VB team does an amazing job on everything from the fresh baked goods to the service.

Wonderful food and desserts. Very friendly,. Lunch was a bit slow getting to us, but they are relatively new, so give them time. Great price for what you get

Passing thru to get to the “Great State of Texas” had the Big Brunch Platter, AMAZING! Great Service, cool decor.

They moved and upped their game! Coffee as always on point but now they serve breakfast lunch and dinner in a beautiful dining room. Service is fantastic and our waffles were awesome! The Machiato is delish!!!
