This place is beautiful and has amazing views. The only thing I didn't care for was the million stairs to get from the top to the bottom. The place is beautiful, the water was nice and cool, the sandy beaches were nice and free of stickers, and the entire area was very clean.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It was completely empty when we arrived around 4pm August 16th. The lake was warm, there were cute frogs everywhere. Whole the place is definitely not kept up like it used to be but the showers and bathrooms work well and it's very peaceful. If you have the chance to stop definitely do!

Fantastic historical place to spend a summer day, wether it's swimming in the clean lake, diving, playing on the trampoline, exploring the 1939 structure or wondering the trails, this place is packed full of simple enjoyment for the whole family.

7-6-19 prices were $4 for adults & $3 for kids and hours were noon to 6 PM.
Also it is handicapped accessible through a different entrance. Concessions available

Our family visited in Spring to let our boys float some homemade boats on the pond. We had a picnic then went for a short walk to see the eagles.

Built by the WPA, in 1939, the restored Pawnee Bath House is once again the public "Swimmin' Hole". Lots of fun for local kids and visitors alike. Lifeguards are on duty for the safety of any swimmers.

This is an awesome place if you like off the beaten path finds. It's not sparkly and new, but it is the kind of water park I remember as a kid. There's a slide, a low diving board on a dock and a high platform to jump off of and holy cow we had fun! The kids came home exhausted and smiling. Even the fish that occasionally nibble add to the ambiance and make for great stories.

I had a great time here with my 3 young boys! Ages 5, 6, and 7. My oldest enjoyed the high dive where he spent a lot of time. The two younger ones had a lot of fun playing on the big snake that they could climb all over in the water. The surf boards were also a pretty big hit among all the kids there. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They provide the usual concession stand and also have blow up floats available to purchase. We will be making many more trips this summer and every summer to come!

Nice little place tucked away. For 2 adults and 4 kids, it was only 20 to get in. Water is always perfect temp, lifeguards on duty while open, and super cheap snack bar.

Old fashioned swimming hole. Historic in that bathhouse was a Great Depression project of WPA. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Check Pawnee City Hall to see if open. Sometimes closed during drought conditions. Excellent steak house on town square, usually a moderate wait for seating because of out of towners the reputation is so well known
