New Asia Market

Had a great shopping experience at the New Asia Market. I needed a specifically Chinese market and this place has a lot I was looking for! They have far-beyond your standard chile oil they have so much variety, they probably have that weirdly specific ingredient you are looking for! The fish smelled very fresh and clean I really enjoyed seeing the fish looked great.

The food was good too can't wait to go back! Great prices!!!

Got some things we couldn't get elsewhere. People were friendly, and the food we bought at the hot bar was very good at a reasonable price. Will come back when we're in town!

We stopped by here after shopping at Charlotte Premium Outlets. We bought (4) baked buns, (2) fresh tofu with caramel, & ordered a beef chow fun & combo pan fried noodles. Beef chow fun was excellent, almost perfect. I wish they brown the noodle a bit. Noodle was wide & soft. Beef was tender & bean sprout was crunchy. Pan fried noodle was also great even on the next day. Fresh tofu was yummy, wish they add ginger to the caramel sauce. Buns were large & soft. Grocery prices were very reasonable. Wife bought a few dry goods & fruits.

A perfect place to find fresh vegetables at reasonable prices, even as a Latin person I can find vegetables that generally cannot be found in American stores. The attention is respectful and friendly. A place I definitely return to twice a week

One of the few Chinese supermarkets in the CLT area. Decent food portions and not too expensive.

Large Asian grocery and fish market.
Great service and helpful. Large variety of foods and vegetables and teas. If you’re looking for larger lobsters over 2lbs and other seafood this is the place to go. The will cook it for you for a fee

This is a review of the Grand Asia market or the new Asian market as it sometimes called installings North Carolina.
This is the size of a typical grocery store like a Bi-Lo or a food lion or a Publix and is as the name implies geared towards the Asian market.
This place is fantastic where you cannot only get fresh meat at the butcher counter although in limited quantities and selection you can also get tons of frozen meat already prepared like duck and rabbit in the oddball things you don't find in a typical American style grocery market.
Lots of spices lots of dried fruits and mushrooms and seasonings a complete full aisle of just soy sauce and a full aisle of basically just hot sauces.
Different style asian beer is also available and some wines along with a huge vegetable selection.
I also love the great selection of candies and snacks you can get from Asia.

This is my go to Asian market. I love to shop all the fresh fruits and vegetables that I can't find in my regular grocery store.

The fresh fish tanks are also fantastic since you know that you are buying fresh as possible.

You can also pay a small extra fee to have you fish not only cleaned for you but also cooked in the restaurant that is inside the market in the front.

Speaking of the restaurant you can get many different foods from here from the precooked bar or order off the menu and wait while they cook it for you.

Super friendly cashier's with the forever smile too. Love this place.

I love the variety of foods and foods they provide. I have experienced food that I have never seen or heard of be for. The place is clean and the employees are nice. I buy live blue crabs 2 a month from there. You can bag your own crabs

Fantastic selection of fish and meats! We enjoy eating a wide range of proteins and vegetables and this store has so many options to add variety to your diet. Very pleased with the selection and the kind employees.

Lunch was delicious, we had General Tsos and lo mein... Fresh and delicious.
The market has a nice selection of fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, spices... Definitely going to come back.

Great place to shop and eat their hot food and desserts are great! The grocery prices are also pretty good too! I have lots of memories coming here with my grandma and us eating carrot and veggie buns I definitely recommend them!

Excellent selection of import goods. The fruit and vegetable section was good. The seafood section was extremely fresh. They had lots of high quality snacks in the front isles. The noodle selection was also great with my favorite, the Lanzhou noodles being available in the refrigerator. Mooncakes were even still available on the day of the festival.

New Asia Market is a great store with lots of variety.

if you love authentic Chinese food and haven’t been to this place, You are missing out! I literally come here almost every week to get the lunch box (three dishes +one soup) for less than 10 dollars or the roasted duck and pork box for 12 dollars. They are the best!!

Besides a large selection of fresh, frozen, dried, preserved, and cooked (yes, cooked on the premises!!). There's a cafeteria and bakery of authentic foods made to order or as a combination box! There's bubble teas, coffees, and juices made to the way you like it! There are Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Indian foods, a variety of vegetables, roots, mushrooms, tofu, etc! There are rices, noodles, sauces, cooking wines, pastes, and even kimchee, drinks, and teas. Fresh seafoods like fish, crabs, lobsters, and meats. Live plants and Chinese pottery, utensils, and pots/pans, steamers. Oh, I can go on and on!

I usually go to Super G but a coworker recommended to try this market. Their vegetables section is nice, and many aisles of products to browse and it seemed slightly different products than Super G. They also seemed to have a larger prepared food section and a more open eating area.

New ownership, has different varieties of international foods that you can find, including seafood. Togo hot foods also.

I love this place, it's as if you went into a portal in space and entered China، a great variety of fresh fish and vegetables.

This review is for the restaurant inside the Grand Asia Grocery Store called the Joy Luck Club. There's a mix of authentic and Americanized chinese dishes served here. I typically get the combo where you pick 3 differebt meats/veggies and rice, for about $7. (Now $8) Pretty good deal. They also have chinese roast duck, chicken, pork hanging. You can buy it by the lb or as a combo. They also offer a bunch of traditional chinese noodle soup dishes as well. If you purchase seafood from the grocery store, you can have the reataurant cook it for you for a small fee. Food is pretty good. If a certain dish looks like it's been sitting at the steam table for too long, I wouldn't order it. For the price, it's a great value and delicious meal.
