Magee After Hours Clinic

We took my son about an hour and a half before closing because of diarrhea. We were able to be seen quickly. The NP was very thorough with her questions and detailed with her explanations. She even consulted other resources to make sure she diagnosed him correctly. We will be going back if we have to!

I was in and out in no time. Everyone was sweet and straightforward. Definitely helped me a lot. The receptionist was respectful. The nurse as well and the doctor knew what to do immediately. Thank y'all.

The service was very fast and efficient and everyone there was super nice and friendly and seemed really invested in making sure all your needs were met!

I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs a quick walk in appointment or are looking for a place to regularly be seen.

You may have to wait but it is walk in so you never know. They've always treated me well and I got the appropriate medication for my complaint.

Me and my son came to the clinic and saw the Dr. For a ear ache they send us to the pharmacy but yet haven't sent the prescription ... We have been here a hour waiting... And when we call to the clinic they are just rude...

Rude receptionist and nurse practitioner! Got there two hours before they close and the np was trying to rush us out and told us he couldn't run test bc of us "coming in at last minute." I was in unbearable pain and he told me it was constipation. Didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Turned out being pleurisy after I had to make a trip to the ER in Flowood to find that out. I had another issue but he told me he would only be looking at one problem and that I needed to go somewhere else To be seen for that bc he didn't have time. I haven't been back since!!

I have used the after hours many times over the years. However, after the experience over the last few days I no longer will anymore. My daughter went in with cough,runny nose, and fever. They tested her for Covid and Flu which both were negative. They proceed to tell me they would send in some medication for her. They didn’t call in the medication I called multiple times and they page me through to the nurse who I left a message with because it went to voicemail. This has went on for two days now with no call back no diagnosis and no called in medicine! My kid is sick and needs her medication! This place is an absolute joke of a clinic and now I’m loading up my sick baby to go to another clinic!!

I took my son here Monday and the physician we saw told us that if he got worse over the next couple days to bring him back. Well he did in fact get worse and we took him back just to sit and wait for hours and then be told that they wouldn’t see him and to just let it run its course by the receptionist…someone that doesn’t have any medical experience or education besides sitting at the front desk in the office checking people in and answering the phone. We ended up taking him somewhere else and they prescribed multiple medications that are working wonders. Even the other doctor said they never should have turned him away and should have at least taken him to the back to examine him instead of refusing service without even checking him because clearly it was worse than they assumed. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional and when asked if it was her child wouldn’t she want them to be seen and to know what’s going on with him she responded with “oh my gosh,” “I’m sick of this,” “I don’t have time for this,” and some other smart remarks. That lady (for the sake of another word) is hateful and negative and shouldn’t be what people that are sick and in pain have to deal with upon trying to get care and neither should their families have to deal with her! The type of employees that are being kept around makes a huge statement about the facility and currently the statement being made isn’t a good one!

Receptionist should be fired. Probably the most rudest person working in public service. If she doesn’t want to be at work someone should send her home!

Super rude and dry. $65 up front to see my child who is in unbearable pain, no exceptions. I have never been turned away from a doctor due to lack of payment. The dr seemed like he was in a rush to get us out, barely even looked at my daughter. Then he prescribes her the most expensive antibiotics and ear drops when I know there are cheaper options! I already couldn’t afford the $65. So he gives me $200 worth of meds to buy!? Thanks a lot. We will NOT be back! I will just make the trip to Jackson next time.

Waited two hours to see the medical professional on duty just to be told to come back tomorrow because they had an emergency. Michelle at front desk was very kind and helpful. Gonna blame this on the non caring professional on duty.

These folks are a joke i tell dont let them put anything in ur room dont care if its not for u they will charge u trust me they will let u die before getting u the care needed almost let my uncle then aruge with u better off at Harrisburg or jackson where they going send u any ways even for a slip disk now thats the er not sure aboyt rest of place pretty sure the same my child had head wound thought they never check on him he was gussing blood from head as well good luck if u go

i went in to see if I got the flu and staff wouldn't let me in without a payment couldn't do a half a payment and still wouldnt let me get seen about I told her to send the bill to my house and I'll pay the rest of it staff want a payment up front didn't have this problem before got to the point they want you to suffer over some payment...

Very unprofessional and rude receptionist!
We left before being seen due to receptionist attitude towards everyone that came in!
