D'Lo Water Park

Absolutely beautiful place with a fun little connection to Hollywood (OH Brother Where Art Thou). If that's the only thing that brings you here, let it. You will not want to leave when you get here. We stopped to stretch our legs on a road trip. The people in the office were very friendly. We also encountered an older couple at the river, and they were very friendly. They started up conversation and were such a sweet couple.

D'Lo Water Park is our favorite place to go camping and canoeing. We and family/friends have had nothing but excellent times here. It's quiet and peaceful. Our getaway from the world and back to nature. Everyone, the staff and inmates working here are exceptional people. We have camped at the campground and overnight down on the sandbars. Love this place!

The most amazing little secret Simpson county has. The geological features are amazing, it's clean, everyone is hospitable and friendly, the staff of inmates are such amazing individuals it makes you wonder why they are inmates at all, the selection of fishing gear and tackle rivals the nearby department stores on price and surpasses them on selection. I can't say enough good things about this Mississippi treasure.

This is a great campground to go to. I really loved it here. This place was well kept up and well secured. I didn’t see no trash or criminal activity involved here. I loved the river and the overall beauty of this place. I recommend coming here in late July or early August. That is when the water and weather is not to hot nor cold. The prices are pretty good if your just camping out. You can also canoe here as well but I would advise asking a staff member first.

Great place to enjoy the water with kids. I have used the kayak rental a few times and have really enjoyed the creek. I have only experienced excellent service. I have not fished here yet but would love to try.

Love going to D'Lo to swim in the river. The area is beautiful and clean, has picnic tables over looking the water, and entrance is free. Have brought many friends and family there to share a day in the water.

Took our nephews from Pittsburgh! They loved every minute! The man that was closing down was very nice too!! It was a great day for the kids,-one they will never forget!!

Go here with my 3 and 4 yr old often, during the week you'll be all by your self which is awesome. Also had canoeing rentals and rafting. Or you can bring your own free.

A very cool spot for a day trip or to go camping! Lots of nice swimming holes.

I loved it. I went there for "spring break" vacations and i loved it. I'll be coming to this place sometime in the future. The scenery is outstanding from the entrance leading to the strong river path.

Grew walking to this "water park". I was thrilled to see how much nicer it had become and how many more people were enjoying it.

We did a 12 mile here at a 2.84 water level had a great time and the staff were friendly

I love this water park I have brought my kids here every sense they were babies they are grown now and my first grandchild is on her way she will swim here too a family tradition lol

We ALWAYS have a good time here!! Sometimes we rent the cabin and my kids love it!
