Meridian Lauderdale County Public Library

Libraries, what comes to your mind when you hear that word.. I don't know about you, but for me, it definitely brings to mind old musty books down some dark book line shelves..sounds familiar..Well not Meridian Library as you can tell it's full of natural beauty and all kinds of nooks and corner that that just seem to draw you in to spend a little time with us..Let's not forget the beautiful area that's set up for children..they will want to spend hours just trying to find that one perfect book to read. So if you haven't been in a while..or even if you have..why not go back and dust that Library card off..chances are you'll find like I did that it's expired anyway and it's time to renew it anyway..so while your there check out all the new changes and improvements and for goodness sake read a book why don't ya!

The library has been renovated and looks amazing 👏🏾📚📖📝 There are fire places, couches, comfy sitting areas, art, wifi, public computers, and lots of other updates. The staff is super sweet and they have a lot more space for parking now. My original review was far more detailed, but it disappeared🥴

The Meridian Library is a wonderful place. So many adventures for me and my grandkids. The staff is helpful informative polite and friendly. They try to go a step above or try to solve your problem. Love this library.

Lady at the front desk is a sweetheart! She is very knowledgeable and helpful

The Meridian Public Library brings back so many memories from when I used to visit the library as a kid. Things are very well organized and the staff is helpful and friendly. My son even got a library card earlier this week. He was so excited. We will definitely be visiting more to do more reading this summer. Go check out my hometown library!

Great library they have plenty of computers. The environment was quiet and great staff.
