The Merrehope Home is fantastic with a wonderful history. Our tour guide informed us this lovely 20 Room mansion started out as little more than a cabin. Over the years its was added on to until it reached its present state. Ironically, the rooms all flow beautifully as though it was all built at one time. Most of the furnishings were in the home when it was obtained. A great tour and beautiful home.

Trees of Christmas was a lovely way to spend an hour. Walking through the two old houses to see the historical pieces along with the lovely holiday decor was great! Yes, the property isn’t in the best part of town, but you don’t really notice once you are there. I appreciate being able to support historic preservation too!

Merrehope is always worth seeing, but the Trees of Christmas tour is a delight. It has been a part of my family's Christmas traditions since I was a child, and it is new and different each year. If you have the chance to see it, you should definitely go.

It was beautiful and educational. Great day with friends then end the day at the boxcar in the Threefoot Building to see the beautiful day. It opens at 4pm.

We had a great time! The upstairs was hot, but worth it. Not a great neighborhood, but they lock the doors during your tour, so it’s safe enough.

The history of this place is amazing. I hope they get some repairs made before its too late. The guy showing the place was very knowledgeable.

I so enjoy visiting Merrehope every year friendly faces beautiful Christmas 🎄 to see different ones every year you really get two in one in December, you also get to take a tour of the house itself and see all of the old antique clothing and furniture, different events all year, I loved it so much I have started to volunteer as a guide, I even tookmy church Breakfast women group there they really loved it, the price only 15 dollars for regular people's 10 dollars for seniors 5 dollars for children. They also thought the price was well worth it.

If you like history and old houses, you should stop by here. It isn't in the best area, but we stopped in for a few hours and not had any issues. We really enjoyed the tour. It was about 10.00 a person and you have 2 houses to tour. It's a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit. In November and December they have decorated Christmas trees to see. We will be back for that.

Beautiful old house and furnishings. I am glad this house has been saved. Staff was friendly, guides were knowledgeable. Was worth the fee and I gladly donated toward the new roofing fund. I hope that everyone will donate to save this piece of history. Really enjoyed it, had a great time.

Bus tour group of 43 had reservations for a tour before lunch; house had a festival of Christmas trees. The hostesses served complimentary mimosas and poinsettias (cranberry juice & champagne). This was a very good stop. Host designer Wilson Lovett, a very interesting individual, and the other hostesses were very cordial and happy!

Beautiful Christmas decorations. Had lots of antiques like it would have looked. If you have allergies to antiques take an allergy pill before you go.

It is a classical revival mansion in Meridian Mississippi. Mr Wilson guided me around. I was the only one so it was a private tour and the explained the interesting history of this place. It was the only structure in Meridian that was not wiped out by the northern forces of General Sherman because it was to be the headquarters for his general period and it has the biggest magnolia tree in the state anyway he was a terribly nice person and made it all worthwhile.
