I go here when I need supplies for home or work, they have a nice selection of hardware, although if you are buying bolts and nuts in bulk you are better off going to "bolt and tool supply" in hickory. The people who work there are great, you don't get any attitude just down home service. I would rather buy every thing I can here within reason rather than going to the local Walmart and keep this landmark in business! I remember when it was run by the Abernathy twins years ago.

A wonderful small town hardware store, Granite Hardware has almost anything you need. The prices are surprisingly good as well. It's been my first stop for years. It's a small place though so keep in mind you usually won't find boards or big power tools.
