Exceptional service from Carol Newman at Good's Home Furnishings!! We recently had the pleasure of working with Carol to purchase a new couch - Smith Brothers 8000 series. I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service received. From the moment we walked into the store, Carol greeted us with a warm and friendly demeanor, instantly putting us at ease. What stood out the most was Carol's keen attention to detail and genuine interest in helping us design the perfect couch for our space. She took the time to listen to our preferences and needs, offering valuable insights and suggestions along the way. We are so appreciative of the team at Good's Home Furnishings! There are so many beautiful and good quality items to choose from in the showroom that it's hard not to take everything home. Jolene was so kind and had so much patience with us picking out items from the showroom to be delivered to our new home. Vicki was an amazing point of contact for us as we awaited our delivery date. Unfortunately, two of the three stools we purchased did not match the same height as the other. Vicki was so diligent to ensure that our stools were sent back to the manufacturer and adjusted so that they were absolutely perfect. Vicki paid such attention to detail, and she kept the lines of communication open throughout the entire process. We can't wait to visit Good's Home Furnishings again!

I visited the Hickory Furniture outlet and found the perfect sofa and was able to order it exactly as I wanted. My sales consultant Mary Fryok was knowledgeable and very helpful throughout my special order process. A great experience with a salesperson can overcome any issues along the process, and Mary excelled at helping to resolve a manufacturing issue to ensure satisfaction.

Carol is the ultimate professional and keenly aware of how to provide five star service. Our experience from start to finish was exceptional. Carol makes you feel like family and gives you her full attention when in her presence. Thank you for all of your help!

Carol Childers is a great designer! She helped me integrate the rooms on the first floor of my home through furniture and fabric. She understood my vision and I couldn’t be happier with our selections. It’s going to look stunning! She succeeded in helping me achieve symmetry and light in spaces that felt dreary. So much fun! Good's has been GREAT through a long process.
I got some beautiful furniture and the folks that helped me were amazing. From Sales (thank you Tonya Miller!!) to customer Service (Thank you Paul Holderman!!) everyone was so helpful and followed through on everything they said they would do. You just don't find service like this anywhere, anymore. Thank you for a great experience which can be a stressful process for anyone!

What a wonderful experience!!

We stopped at the Hickory Furniture Mart to find a sofa. After a few hours of walking around, we went into Goods Home Furnishings. To be honest, we weren’t going to go in because the furniture style at the front of the store was not our style; but am I glad we did!

We met Tonya and we looked at a sofa by her desk. It was good but not exactly what we were looking for. After sharing with her what we were looking for, she showed us another sofa with a matching chair that was on floor model clearance. It was perfect. Color, style, and most importantly size. We had a problem with buying a sofa because our new apartment has a funky, and small, entry way. After doing some measuring, we bought the set. We were sure it would fit.

A couple of days later, we heard from Levia in the scheduling department and, after some back and forth with the lead delivery person, Brian, it was determined that this sofa would not fit in our entryway. We weren’t sure what to do. We went back and forth on some ideas as we wanted this sofa. We finally settled on a material lift that I had found at a tool rental company.

Delivery day was today and the lift worked great. Brian and Q, the two delivery guys, worked with me on the lift and got the sofa hoisted up over the balcony (14.5 feet high) and placed in our apartment. It’s perfect!

All around, the furniture selection, the customer service, logistics, and delivery were outstanding and they have made us future customers! I would highly recommend Goods Home Furnishings and this wonderful team.

Good’s Home Furnishings is our favorite store in Hickory Furniture Mart! Over the years when we’ve visited HFM, we’ve gone in a bunch of stores and arrived at Good’s midway through the day. Then we’re like, “Why did we bother going elsewhere?”

We bought our son’s bedroom furniture here when he was born 14 years ago, and those are our first wonderful memories at this store. We recently purchased new bedroom furniture for him and office furniture for my husband. Annette helped us pick things out, and she was SO knowledgeable and wonderful!! A few months passed between when we picked furniture we liked and when we were able to purchase it (we’re building a house), and she was able to help us finalize the purchase from Charlotte. She was SO helpful and made everything so easy! We highly recommend Good’s and Annette Howes in particular!! ❤

Annette at Goods Home Furnishing was super helpful with our purchase. She was knowledgable about the products and helped us make decorating decisions that we are really excited about!

Working with Mary Fyock to buy our new Hickory White bed and Michael Amini bedding was an absolute JOY!! Mary worked tirelessly with us to help us find just the right bed and the perfect fabric - we love it in our home! Mary was patient, knowledgeable and just plain fun to work with. Ashleigh was fantastic from start to finish with managing the details of our order. Her customer service was impeccable. Our bedroom furniture arrived equally impressive. We are pleased with the quality of our furniture and the white glove delivery was friendly, quick and efficient. We will continue to be repeat customers!

Debe Abernathy at Good's Home Furnishings went above and beyond in helping me purchase a Braxton Culler table base remotely. She went so far as to send finishes to make sure it matched my existing chairs. I was totally impressed with the level of communication to coordinate our purchase and delivery. This was so unlike the experience I had with another large furniture mart close by. When my husband picked it up, he was impressed with how nice and efficient they were in packing it up for the drive.

Great experience. Worked with Jessica L. On furnishing a Florida condo. She was responsive, made great suggestions, worked within our budget and made very helpful suggestions to get the most out of the experience. This is our 2nd time shopping with Good’s and we were very pleased with the selection and the ability to work with them on fabrics, finishes as well as taking advantage of sales. Melanie is always such a pleasure to work with! We purchased furniture from her about 5 years ago, and more recently I began working with her again when my client asked for specific pieces. Incredible customer service and follow up from Matt Hyland at Good's Home Furnishings. He was helpful whether regardless of all my questions and quote inquiries. My furniture arrived within the quoted time frame and was far less than in other retail outlets. Definitely use Matt at Good's!

We are redoing our entire living room set. After doing our due diligence, we concluded that the Stickley Brand was exactly what we wanted (Fine Craftsmanship, American Made by an Established Manufacturer). Only problem, we live in a very remote area of the Country and the nearest Stickley retailer is about 10 hours from our home.

Through internet browsing we stumbled on Good’s Home Furnishings (20 hours away) and have had the pleasure to work with Lee Ennis, Sales & Design. The buyer/seller relationship was perfect for me. Much of our interaction was through emails which was ideal for my work environment. Lee was always very quick to respond to our needs and very patient answering all of the questions we had (we made him work). When he was out, his out of the office message would always be activated, when we needed to speak in person he was readily available. We never had to go to the store and never felt like we ever had to chase anyone down because Lee was always there to support our needs. Further, Lee was very familiar with the products he was selling and had all the facts of the transaction…very professional and no surprises.

The level of service was second to none! To the management of Goods Home Furnishings, the greatest compliment that I can give is to let you know that your organization will be receiving an additional order from us come next spring. I have also already passed on your store information to a business colleague as well.
