Candlewood Suites Gonzales - Baton Rouge Area, an IHG Hotel

Check in was great. Staff was 100% better than other hotels in this area. I liked the room a lot. For a long business trip it is great making my own meals, not to mention cheaper. Everything you need (except an oven) is provided. Washing machines were FREE, no coins needed. I will always try to get a room at this hotel if available. I can't say enough about the great staff. Thanks Candlewood!

We only stayed one night while passing through, but it would be a wonderful place to stay for an extended amount of time. The room was really nice with everything you could want. Very clean and staff are friendly.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was friendly and Maria the cleaning lady mentioned on the card in the room did an excellent job. Not a spot in site. I am usually very suspect about hotel bedding even at 4 and 5 star. The hotel made me feel free from the fear of germs and Covid 19. I am impressed. Keep up the good work.

This is our second experience. Our first was at Thanksgiving. We had such a great experience we registered again for Christmas eve and Christmas before we left.
Same person checked us in for this visit she was extremely helpful They gave us a break on the cost. We received extra coffee. We have everything we need to enjoy our Christmas dinner on the miniature kitchen. Great room and hotel experience.
Seniors will enjoy the taller toilet with a grab bar and the lower bathtub, making it easy to get in and out.
We will register for Mardi Gras before we leave.

I travel for work often and this has been my best stay in the last year or more. Great staff who went above and beyond to get technical help to connect devices to the internet, or any thing else that was needed during my extended stay.

Comfortable beds and quiet rooms, not much else you can ask for. 11/10

I had an awesome experience. Love Sharon and those who work at the Reservations and front desk! Just great hospitality! Need to keep bananas or fruit in the store though if you offer them. I think that there was no fruit for two days! Enjoyed my stay, the fitness center, being able to do laundry without there being a cost attached.

We've stayed here a few times. The staff was very nice. As soon as you walk in you could smell the "clean." Our suite had everything we could need. The prices were great in comparison to other places. This is our go to place to stay when we are in the area.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed at. And for the price, I don't think you'll find anything better. Very clean and comfy and the kitchenette is great for long-term stays. Hotel is super clean and well laid out. Staff is well informed and friendly. I've stayed here on two different occasions and will be back. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for the price. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, very nice and accommodating staff. Best part is the gym. This hotel has a gym for people who really know how to work out. Sure it has your standard treadmill and elliptical.. but it also has free weights, foam roller, rubber bands, bosu balls. Easily best hotel gym I've ever seen.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the gym is amazing, but the best part is, free use of the laundry facility. No complaints.

Immaculate spaces, very well appointed. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Located in a safe, newer part of town...a great place to launch sight-seeing trips into New Orleans or the plantation homes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The room was quite clean and had a pleasant ambience to it. The hotel staff were very polite and hospitable. I'd prefer staying here the next time if I were to visit Baton Rouge!

Beautiful clean up to date hotel. Place to buy food. Fitness area and laundry area. Comfortable beds. Would defiantly stay here again and will recommend to others.

Beautiful, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. There was one small mistake with the billing but Daiz-ey was very kind to get that sorted for me right away with the manager. I will recommend anyone passing by to consider staying at this hotel.

We live staying at the Candlewood Suites! It'd always clean, comfortable & well appointed. The staff is cordial & helpful.

Very nice and clean hotel. Stayed for a basketball tournament so the free washer and dryer were very helpful. Friendly staff. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Nice, roomy. Having the kitchen was great. The check in host in the afternoon, Precious, was friendly and helpful. She called me by name and welcomed me.

Clean, fully furnished. No breakfast offered but not expected. Water pressure is amazing. Good restaurant options within walking distance.

The staff is absolutely amazing, very clean and safe. One of my favorite hotels.
