I’m so grateful to have a place like Midtown Kava! There are so many ways to treat yourself here - grab a tea/kombucha/soda, visit with friends in the cozy lounge, or get some products for home. I love the kava and hemp extracts for their superior quality and the CBD Shaman sparkling soda is a treat to have on hand at home. It’s an oasis that always brightens my day!

The Peanut Butter Doggy Chew Treats have been a game changer for my large breed senior dog. He was really struggling to squat #2, often losing his balance due to pain. One week into these treats and NO MORE issues. I knew they worked too because I ran out for like 2 weeks and he went back to having potty squatting issues. My boy is 13 and these literally make him play and hop again. Highly recommend! Thank you, Sarah. You rock!

This place is just the best. Their drink selection is awesome, tea, kava, kava cream soda! The additions you can get in your drinks are so good too. They also have some of the best merch from so many different vendors too. The Zen Den is the best place to just chill or read a book or even chat with the owner Sara who knows all the things about all the things!! Love her!

Midtown Kava is fantastic! It's got everything that the chillest Kansas City cats need to maintain optimal states of relaxation. From Kava tea to THC-A flower, pre-rollers, and gummies, it's truly the tea shop of my dreams.

This kava and tea lounge is a relaxing, plant-filled environment where calm-seekers and the curious are welcome.

The front is sprinkled with gift items (see: soy candles that are well priced and with a good range of scents). The middle is stocked with CBD American Shaman products. The back is a kava/tea bar. The lounge is cozy and calm.

I quickly appreciated the owner, who made me feel at home and who guided me to products that fit my needs and taste. 10/10, will return.
