Don’t miss this gem! Dined in for supper on 6/24/23 after a long day driving. Parking was right outside the door on the street (on a hillside with a pretty good slope). The a/c felt wonderful but couldn’t compete with the hot sun coming through the windows of the river view room so it was shut off to diners but we didn’t mind. Staff was very friendly and we had cold sweet tea in a quick minute to enjoy while perusing the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. There was a bar to enjoy as well as live music after 7:00. Food was hearty and delicious….a round of applause for those biscuits! Yummmmmm Y’all don’t miss this place when visiting Vicksburg! There are parks and green spaces with photo ops right across the street and also around the corner to enjoy and help walk off your full belly afterwards.

A fun little gem! We came for dinner as a party of 4 and were able to sit in the front room that overlooks the water. Our waitress was new but she did fine. She did have to go back to the bar/kitchen to answer a few of our questions but she did well. The biscuits truly were great and we enjoyed our fried catfish. The blackened shrimp wrap was tasty as well. For the wraps there are a lot of options for proteins and sauces. Even the simple side salad was nice, it tasted fresh. Overall we had a very good experience and would recommend this place!

ALWAYS.... We eat at Rustys when in Vicksburg. So we wanted to try somewhere different while passing through Vickburg...WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED! The establishment is right in the historical district, up the road from the Yazoo River. The atmosphere was great. Old former brick biscuit bakery. Place looks like a old school bar. Staff was extremely warm and welcoming. Very friendly. Menu is priced good. Not fast food prices but not stupid expensive, super affordable. Lot of broad choices but you MUST get the hamburger steak!! I love hamburger steak and this is the BEST EVER. we also had the catfish, it was good. Service was good. Waitress was personable and informative. They are very proud of there hometown. The biscuits are great. Service was quick. Clean place. STRONLY RECOMMEND.

Enjoyed this place. We happened to come in on their last day of business. The owner was ready to step away from the business. We ordered steak bits. Filet mignon cooked in butter and seasonings...chef's kiss. The biscuits where light and fluffy.

Best catfish I have ever had and a decent view of the river outside. I would definitely recommend this place to others passing through. Just a short walk from a series of murals down by the river.

6-21 Loved the food, atmosphere and wait staff, glad the Ameristar Casino turned us away this is place we now eat at. 7-8-23 came back to eat dinner absolutely wonderful, and the steak bites were the best I have had. Wonderful wait staff. A must to stop and eat.

First time coming and it was for lunch today. The ambiance here is just sooooo nice! I was greeted with a lovely smile by the hostess. I wasn’t sure where to go but she directed me quickly to the bartender who already had my order waiting on me. She was really nice as well. All in all the staff was very pleasant and professional and the food was DELICIOUS! Will be coming back!

Every time we go to Vicksburg we eat here. The food is always good friendly service great atmosphere. Safe area

We eat out a lot all over the country and I can honestly say this was the best food I've had in a very long time...if not ever! We had the blue plate lunch with pork chop. Looked dry, but super moist and yummy. Okra and tomatoes were to die for. 10 stars!!! Waitress was ok, but could have been more attentive

Had a really nice lunch here, built my own wrap with fried chicken. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Will come again.

Jessica was a great witness. Very nice and the food was very versatile good. The hamburger steak was fabulous.

Nice night life! Enjoyed karaoke nights and tasty crawfish angel pasta! Shrimps bowls lunch special are huge and delicious!!

I had very fast and frequent service. I ordered a small side of biscuits and they were the most perfect biscuits that I have had in at least a decade if not my life. They were golden brown on top but not dried out or burned on the bottom, were great with butter and molasses.

I would recommend this place.

Clean and serene... Food was good...grilled chicken cut in strips on top of a strawberry, walnut, and bleu cheese salad with balsamic dressing and a cup of ice lemonade... :)

This was a GREAT place! The atmosphere is awesome, and the food was fantastic! There is parking on the street, right outside the entrance, but it is on a steep hill. There was plenty of parking on a cross street just a short walk away. Ok, back to the food. They boast about their catfish, and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! You MUST get the biscuits, too! We also had the house burger and the Ribeye. EVERYTHING was delicious! The only negative to say, and it is REALLY MINOR, (I still rate the service 4 out of 5) was the service. There are other reviews commenting on bad service. This was NOT our experience. They must be short staffed. Our server was one of only 2, and service was a little slower than might otherwise have been. She did her best under the circumstances. She was attentive and pleasant! I highly recommend it! If we are ever back in Vicksburg, we will definitely be eating here again!

Love the food, service is always amazing. Wednesday night is steak night. Can’t beat the price for a good steak and some music to listen too. They also have a blue plate special during lunch that my husband loves.

Great place to eat! We had the catfish, and fresh gulf shrimp. Hush puppies, coleslaw, fries(regular and sweet potato, yum!). It was all very good.

Great food, I tried the fried broccoli with cheese sauce and a baked sweet potato, it was so good, iced tea for my drink
