Seaweed Steaks, Seafood & Sushi

Overall it was pleasant. The grouper was cooked to perfection, could have used a bit more red pepper marscapone. The yakisoba noodles we lack luster. I thought it would have more flavor. The sushi roll my husband ordered was amazing. The service is great. I also ordered the elderflower white cosmo drink which was a wonderful blend of floral citrus and not too sweet. The calamari was so fresh and delicious! We would come back.

We celebrate my 51st birthday for dinner here for the first time. We were so impress, we decide to come for lunch the next day. The manager was so great, greeting with love. Great foods, drinks and dessert, especially, a must in the key lime pie. I’m not much of a key lime dessert but their version had the perfect balance of tartiness and sweetness. Prices was very reasonable and affordable. If your staying in Clearwater beach, it’s less then 10 min to get there. You will not regret checking it out!! We will come again the next time we are in town.

Over the weekend, we tried out Seaweeds Restaurant and it was fantastic! We had the BEST raw Oysters we’ve ever had. Stone Crab sushi roll was delicious. The drinks were on point. Our entrees were Shrimp & Grits and Stuffed Mahi, both were fresh and packed with flavor.

Service was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect for a nice date night.

Pricey but yummy. Food is top tier but you definitely pay for it.
Drinks are also good but not very strong(typical restaurant level).
If you want fancy dining, this is the place.
I had the beef and reef and it came with a small Filet, 3 coconut shrimp, onion straps, corn, and a side.

1st time to Seaweed, it is a quant relaxing atmosphere and like most places, there are probably some things they could do better like the calamari. I would not suggest that or the grilled oysters, which I'm assuming should be a bit more like a New Orleans style cooked oyster and they're just not nailing it. Other than that everything else was fantastic. We had the Hogfish, Sea Bass (Appetizer), Chilean sea bass, Raw oysters( hand shucked and it's makes a difference since you keep the natural salt water in the oyster) and the Key lime pie is fantastic, they do it right!

Great diversity in the menu and the staff was wonderful, especially the manager she was engaging and willing to hear feedback. My family and I will definitely be going back there again (at least monthly). They have a wonderful daily drink special which is a great deal. Price point at this restaurant I think is extremely fair, especially for the freshness, preparation and diversity. I can't wait to go back and will be sending all my friends and family there! I want to try everything and will continue to post each visit.

Great spot for sushi, fresh fish, steaks, and cocktails. Highly recommend the freshly shucked oysters ($2pp), the baked scallop appetizer, the Volcano Roll, the Florida Roll and the Sea Bass Brochette. It’s happy hour every day all day; so, enjoy the delicious cocktails. I really enjoyed the Berries and Bubbles. The parking can be limited. Make sure to make reservations! Highly recommend! I would like to go back and try more rolls!

Second time coming here and it didn't disappoint! Excellent sashimi, rice-free sushi rolls, and steaks. We splurged on a tomahawk steak and didn't regret it!

Delicious food, in very generous portions for a surprisingly good price. Our waiter Christopher was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable about the menu so I could eat safely as a Gluten Free diner. We had a reservation for 7 on a Sunday & it was packed!

Standouts were the oysters, pork chop, & chocolate cake.

Seriously amazing food! I don't super enjoy oysters, but these are the best I've had in 5-star restaurants. The stone claws were amazing as well. Willie is phenomenal! If you get the opportunity to sit at the bar where he performs, you will appreciate your experience much more....amazing employee and person. Eddie was our server/ bartender. He, too, was amazing. I am lucky I brought my wife here for her birthday. She enjoyed it so much!

Went for dinner here for my husband's birthday. Had a reservation and got seated right away. We had shrimp cocktail, steak and meatloaf. Everything was delicious! They brought a cake to the table, which was free. It was also really tasty, as was the keylime pie. Would definitely recommend, and would come back!

Amazing service and great food. The snapper wings are great and the crispy cauliflowers fantastics. Kid-friendly environment, daily fresh selection of Mahi-mahi, Snapper and grouper with a variety of sauce to choose from. Great staff always cheerful and willing to guide trough the menu. We definitely will come back.

Words couldn't describe how great the food was. We have owned a local utility company for over 35 years. Driven by the place numerous amounts of times. Finally went there last night. Great atmosphere food to die for. We will be back for sure, Probably tonight. When you go to a establishment 2 nights in a row, that's special. Service was great. Sat at the bar and talked to willy who runs the oyster bar and has worked there for 5 years and with baystar for 23 years. From the time we showed up at 6:30 to the time we left people were steady rolling in waiting to eat. That shows you the quality and passion for food. My girl and i had date night there last night, we will be back tonight. Thanks seaweed for great food and unbelievable service. 10 star **********

Great New Find! The fresh Virginia Oysters Ice Cold and Delicious 😋 And my first time having Snapper Wings amazing with the Thai Chili sauce and Don't forget the Seared Hogfish! Really Really Just great all-around.Ty

At dinner here tonight and can’t recommend enough the amazing food. The snapper wings were delicious. The oysters with manchego and fresh were great. We also loved the brussel sprouts but would recommend a balsamic glaze extra on top or the side. The bacon was good paired with the other items we ordered. Drinks were great and now we are in a food coma, happily:-) thanks to the French waitress who was on her game and the manager who stopped to chat. We will be back as locals.

Omg if you are in the Tampa area you have to go to Seaweed!! Their all day happy hour is great, the snapper cheek is out of the world, but honestly the most amazing part of my experience was Kayco! She was so friendly and genuinely nice!!! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made wonderful suggestions! She made me feel right at home!! Trust me!! This place is a must!! You won’t regret it!! Thanks again Kayco a wonderful experience!!

Really good food, tasty and good portions. The only gripe is they overcooked my filet, asked for medium and there was no pink at all. Dinner Salads were huge, sushi rolls were very fresh.

Wow have I got a recommendation for you! If you like oysters, if you like seafood, if you like sushi, this is bar-none the best restaurant I have been to In ages!! The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and comfortable. Lots of bar space to sit and drink or eat. Tables are arranged beautifully and the decor is so comfortable. I understand why this restaurant is packed at 4:00 in the afternoon! Was so in love with the food, did not take pictures of my food, however, I will next time and very soon. I have over 2 million views and I want to say this is the best restaurant I have been to in ages! UPDATE: needless to say I've been here several times and last night was a treat as we also had stone crab as well fun fun I can't get enough of this place!

First time at Seaweed and loved it! Great happy hour menu, make sure to try the steaming bubbly cocktails they are so good! We went with the bar bites app menu. Firecracker shrimp, Brussel sprouts, oysters, and tuna teaser were all great! Bellair and crab roll were okay. Live music, beautiful patio, great staff, we loved it there! Oh, and dessert was great too! Next time looking forward to trying their regular menu too!
