Groupers on the Gulf

Fantastic service, food and atmosphere! Loved grabbing lunch here! Split some shrimp for an appetizer and then had a delicious and filling 6” Cuban sandwich with fries. As an out of towner, this place was great and I’m sad I won’t be back anytime soon to try more of the menu.

We got the shrimp 2lb (with shell and tail on) and steamed clams. Grouper bites and blackened grouper. All the food was great. Especially great grouper bites with three sauces.

The service with expectational and to the point. We said the pinacolda was initially bit sweet they were happy make it changes .

I love this little hidden gem!! Great service, casual vibe, outdoor seating. The wings are AMAZING! Fall off the bone, flavorful, perfect amount of sauce. We've had both the Jamaican Jerk & Sweet Heat. Love the tacos! Chicken Street Tacos. Grouper Tacos, 2 for $10! Best price anywhere!

We were looking for a local establishment for fresh seafood. We found it here! The steamed Cajun shrimp was INCREDIBLE as was the grouper- any way prepared. Friendly owners as well. Beer cold and crisp, too. Highly recommend.

Groupers is another spot I must return too. I got the Bang Bang Shrimp and the 6” Cuban sandwich (1st time having one). I’m used to having the shrimp breaded, but these weren’t, and it made it so much better. I didn’t know what to expect from the Cuban, so let me tell you it was great! A lot bigger than I thought, but that’s never a bad thing right. Only thing better than the food was the service. They made sure everything was great and gave me a breakdown of the area and what to see while I’m down here. I loved the family oriented laid back atmosphere of Groupers.

Service is great and staff is super nice! The food is also fantastic and the big portions give you a great value for the price. Highly recommend.

This is a fabulous place for tasty seafood: small bites or a delicious meal. The chef is talented and the food is reasonably priced. The wait staff is accommodating and I love sitting outside where there is no road noise. I have brought many friends and family here and all were impressed. We prefer the healthier options like blackened grouper or buckets of steamed mussels (always tender) or Cajun shrimp. The grouper is available as a fillet dinner, grouper bites or tacos. I like them all! Can't wait to go again! Hands down my favorite restaurant in the area.

This place is amazing! Best wings you’ll ever have. Fall right off the bone and multiple sauce options. My bf is a wing lover and rated them a 10.
The seafood was great too. The owner and the bartender were so nice and friendly. Prices are great too!

Food was great. Ordered the grouper Reuben and chicken wings. Wings were super good. Believe they are baked first and then fried. Fall off the bone. My kids won’t usually eat anything but chicken nuggets and French fries and they devoured the grouper bites and the garlic parm chicken wings.
4 of us ate apps and entrees with drinks for around 70 bucks. Waitress was super pleasant. If we had more time we would go back. Next time!

Excellent Grouper Sandwich! Two large fillets, cooked perfectly, with fries and coleslaw. Best quality seafood restaurant in the Tampa region that we’ve found. Small place, so you’re not going to get a party atmosphere, but if you want to sit down and eat a simple, great seafood dinner, this is your place.

Swung by here for lunch yesterday on a whim and I was glad I did!

I was torn on what to order so I did a double order of 2 Fried Grouper Tacos and their Cuban Sandwich with fries.

I loved the decor which had a sea type/seascape vibe with a few tables outside, a few tables inside and a small bar.

I had one taco and 1/2 of the sandwich and while both were delightful, the main event was the pork on that Cuban! It was sooooo tender and juicy that I wish I was able to eat the whole sandwich!

I spoke to the husband and wife as they were very nice and welcoming.

Their is a parking lot with enough spaces and do look forward to coming back in the near future!

Been here several times on my trips down to Florida and have never been disappointed..definitely a must if you are in Indian Shores. The servers are nice and the food tastes very fresh. The shrimp especially is probably the best shrimp I’ve eaten. The hard work put into this business is obvious. Great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit 👌

This family-owned spot is a great addition to Indian Rocks. There is maybe 6 tables inside, a small bar and ample seating outside. The menu is limited but has something tasty for everyone. Three of us started with the excellent $5 clam chowder (trying the $5 lobster bisque next time). My guy and I shared three pork street tacos ($7) which were excellent. Others ordered grouper sandwiches with chips & coleslaw and the grouper bites served with garlic bread & coleslaw ($11 each). All six of us agreed their lunch was excellent.

The menu includes wings, potato skins, nachos and smoked fish spread. If you want a salad, choose between a Caesar or wedge. Plus there are mussels, cajun shrimp, grouper tacos, grouper reuben, Cuban sandwich - perfect bar menu for me! The bar our choice of soda, draft beer, bottled beer, sangria & wine.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with free on-site parking. The owners/staff are friendly and showed their appreciation for our business.

We found this place near residential area away from the beach. Small family owned, yet food, service were very good. We had 7 adults and a toddler in our party. That had plenty of staff to handle everyone without trouble. Food was typical for the area, yet the prices were not as high as other places we had eaten. Very friendly staff.

Super delicious fried grouper served on fresh bakery bun (fries too,) with some sweet tea. The service here is top- notch & definitely worth the trip. Very reasonable prices$$$$.

We came here twice. Got the grouper sandwich and the red snapper sandwich. They tasted delicious. The atmosphere was good and staff were very friendly. Would come again.

Fantastic service. Our server and the bartender (I think, he brought our drinks out) were absolutely wonderful. So friendly and great at their jobs. We sat at one of the few nice tables outside. Love that they kept music going out there and brought a paper table cloth and crayons for the kids. Our food was great. The grouper reuben was the star. Great kid meal options, our daughter loved the grouper bites. Had a couple of really good local tap beers. Everyone that was walking out was in a great mood and yelling thank you to the staff. Good sign. They have live music on Thurs/Fri/Sat.

We have been multiple times to Grouper's. This was our first time back after the transition in Management/ownership. We would highly recommend anyone to try this establishment out. Super friendly and beachy atmosphere. They really freshened up the inside dining and bar areas, bathrooms and kitchen. The staff was very attentive. The food was made to perfection. We will definitely be going again and recommend anyone in the area to try here!

Amazing place to come w family or friends, dined here 2 days ago and absolutely loved it! Food was amazing and our server NORAH was amazing, very attentive and friendly. Felt as if she really cared about her job and customer experience. Would 100% come back.
