Shorty's Breakfast & Gourmet Deli

Really enjoyed our dinner on the gorgeous waterfront patio at Shorty’s! Loved the fresh fish tacos and turkey wrap. Excellent service and beautiful views. Can’t wait to return and try other items on the menu.

OK, we wanted a cuban sandwich so ended up here. The cuban was very good, but the shrimp stole the show! They were huge, fresh and the homemade tarter sauce was amazing. The kids pizza was more of a Flatbread, and I wanted to order one for myself it was that good. Great experience sitting on the back deck next to the water. You just grab whatever drinks you want from the cooler inside and they add it to your check. It's a little convenience store with a deli, and they serve you at your table. Highly recommend this place!

Delicious hot sandwiches! The side salad was large & so tasty with the house vinegarette dressing & the chicken noodle soup was amazing, I loved the thin noodles(it was more chicken & veggies with light noodles- which is great for me!) What made the place, besides the lovely view, was the service. The lady who served us was really friendly & happy. The man who was making our sandwiches was smiling & so happy too. It's great to see workers genuinely enjoying what they do. Oh, we got the Chocolate Overload cake/ pie slice to go, it was SO GOOD!! 😋
It is a deli in a grocery store, so don't expect a fancy setup!

Breakfast ALL DAY and Lunch/Dinner. A simple place on the water with outdoor seating with a view of dolphins swimming every now and then. Good service. Burgers, fries, wraps, sandwiches, etc.

Delicious food with a beautiful view. It ended up being busier than expected, but everyone was working hard and helping the customers. Highly recommend!!

Great food!! The staff was amazing, and the view of the bay is great. Plus, it's also a little Markey si any items you forgot at home, they will have it.

Best kept secret in Clearwater. Great food without the tourist prices. Massive menu, the convenience store is in front restaurant in back. Lots of little shops in the strip mall. I think people are confused about the service. Michael our waiter was totally wonderful but if you want high high end kiss your rump service then go next door.

I came across this small restaurant and I have to say i was pleasantly surprised, the food is really good and the Latin girl that helped me, she told me her name is Ede, made my experience one of a kind. I'll be returning soon to Shorty's to have a sandwich and more onion rings! I do recommend this place!

Great food for decent price. Amazing service. It’s a small restaurant behind the grocery store with enough place to sit and eat. We went there for breakfast and then back for dinner later in the day. Typical diner style breakfast on menu with few other options. Lunch and dinner menu is good too. Lot of sandwiches and salad options. After dinner I forgot my credit card here and Amber was nice enough to call few hotels nearby to locate me. I didn’t realize I was missing my card until I got a message from my hotel front desk. We were there during holidays so place was not busy. There is plenty of place to sit in the back with amazing view of water.

We have spent the last week at the Marriot next to this store/restaurant. This has been our go-to for many things… our first late dinner, our breakfast one day and our quick grabs for Tylenol and snacks. Everyone was great! Our first night, Tracy was our server for a late bite to eat (which was great). But most of all her kindness and service were top notch and was better than the service the ritzy hotel restaurants. She gave us some great tips and advice about the area and was generally informative and friendly.

Shorty’s is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Great burgers and friendly staff. Big menu; we have honed into their burgers and fries :) It’s a regular place for us. Sit waterside. Chance of seeing dolphins is about 50%. Convenience store up front, restaurant in the back. Great place to spend some time at.

One the best little hidden places ive found yet! You can sit and eat right on the water. The food and service was incredible!!! My husband and I were trying to find food and we stumbled upon Shortys. Nicole, our server was amazing!!! Needless to say we will be back!!

Hole in the wall breakfast joint. There are only a few tables inside but there plenty outside that are covered. Dolphins frequent the water near the restaurant and can be seen from the deck.
Breakfast is cheap, quick, and good. They do serve mimosas and have a little shop attached if you forgot anything.

Fast, good service, and good food. Need a quick bite with a good view? Look no further Shorty’s has you covered.

Surprisingly good food and service. Great waterfront location with tables on the deck that have outstanding views of the Intercoastal. Shorty's is one of Clearwater's hidden gems. I strongly recommend it. It's a great place to watch the boats.

A group of 4 of us stopped in for dinner on New Years eve. Shorty's looks like a dive convenience store when you walk in but has a deli in the back (with Boarshead meat) and a decent selection of wines. We had a large late lunch so a sandwich and bottle of wine sounded good. The Reuben and fried grouper sandwich were excellent. The place was quite busy and staff was fabulous.

My mother has been talking about this place for about a month, so after walk Central Park for Pokemon Go (pokestops) we came for breakfast. I have been fasting on and off for months, so haven't eaten anything like restaurant food in some time. I normally like to try a little of everything and do I did. Mom got her French Toast and the rest of it was mine, when walking in I had planned to take food home, but I just couldn't stop and ate it all. Biscuits and gravy was ok, but you add the egg and sausage to the biscuits and gravy while eating, wow great taste. Tried some of mom's french toast REALLY good, we will be coming back lots of other things on menu and price was not bad, either!
