Lakes Church Auburndale Campus

Absolutely LOVE my church! It is not the building but the kind loving and amazing people that make this a church that wants and love Jesus. It is a place that is real not perfect that makes it feel like a special place..

I've been to both the Auburndale and Lakeland branches. I enjoy the Auburndale pastor - very humble man. Did not care for the Lakeland pastor who happens to be the lead pastor, arrogant. I'm not a church-goer, rather, a listener to the guidance of the holy spirit. For some reason, the Lakeland church did not feel right for me, mainly because of the people there. My interactions with those who preach tells me a lot. Of course, pray about it. Thank you for being humble, Auburndale pastor!

Excellent church that we found since we have been looking as we came to the area in February '22. Great teaching and people. I.E., it is our new home church. If you are looking where the Word is taught well, with excellent worship music, come visit.

SUCH A GREAT CHURCH!!! If we didn't live in Seattle (and closer to Auburndale), we'd go there!

After having the privilege of calling this my church home for over 63 years, I can confidently say God is continually doing His amazing work in and through His people and that the best is yet to come. He is so fun to watch. If you do not have a church home, come and experience what God desires to do in and through you here. Know that you are loved!

I've grown up in this church and love its heart for Christ and people. No church is perfect, but I've consistently heard the gospel preached under every pastor we have had here. If you're looking for a church with a passion for the lost, a commitment to spiritual growth, love for Christ and the community... then this is a good one to look at.

I've had the opportunity to work with the youth a few years now and love that ministry too. The church is working to grow a young adult ministry, so this is a great place to raise young kids up past youth and into their years as independent adults and beyond.

We also have great mens and womens ministries, as well as for couples, families, and seniors. I hope if you're checking out reviews you take this as an invite to visit!

I Love my Church! My family and I have attended here for over 15 years. Pastor Jay isn't afraid to tell the truth right out of the Bible. The people reflect the love of Christ. I don't know the specific circumstance of the other reviews that are negative, however, I do know that our church loves people. That said, we are not perfect! Some doors are locked during services in the interest of public safety and free childcare is provided for the convenience of parents. Thanks! :)

We love worshipping and serving at this church. Its church body is filled with real people who love the Lord with all their heart, soul and mind, and their neighbors as themselves. They put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, trusting in Him alone for their salvation, and together, they seek to worship and glorify Him in words and action !

THIS IS AN OLD POST - from when Dr. Jay Dennis was there :Wonderful fellowship with sincere people who love the Lord, and serve others with love! Pastor Jay is a genuine and down to earth mentor to everyone who attends...he speaks only Biblical truth meant to inspire, instruct, and equip us in our Christian walk. I'm very thankful for my church!!!!

I have been attending this church for 17 years now...I love it! Yes it has it's problems but all churches do. No one in a church is perfect and the people are going to make mistakes. Pastor Jay Dennis is one of the best there is. He tells it how it is and backs it up with scripture. There is hurting people in church ....hurting people hurt people. If everyone who came here would think about that and be there for worship of Jesus not to use it as a social affair then you would see the real church. I know others have said about the doors being locked.....it is the doors to the lower part of the sanctuary. It is distracting when people come and go....You know God is at work and disruptions can bother that.

First Baptist Church At the Mall is a great church. They have Breaking Bread Café on Tuesdays and Thursday nights. Line up about 5:00 or 5:30. Great atmosphere, Great People. Excellent food. Plus they serve you while your meeting people. I love it there.

I thoroughly enjoy listening to Dr. Jay Dennis each Sunday morning since we are now in our 70's and basically home-bound with walkers/rollators. It has been especially good to hear Dr. Dennis talk about his letter to Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton which are my feelings exactly and would be my advice to them because I believe it is the best advice for them and every Christian in this country as well as the world! We all need to be a Godly people serving Him well with all the love we have! May God Bless Dr. Jay Dennis and the Church at the Mall! My love to all!

With such a large church it's essential to become a part of a Connect group. That's where you find support, love plus excellent teaching. Outreach to community emphasized. Perfect place to learn about God whatever your faith walk.

Love my Church family! Pastor Aaron is truly being used by the Holy Spirit to teach us God's truth. The people here make our Church feel small!

I just want to say that on Feb. 3rd, my father was in TICU, along with a fellow parishioner. He had s bad accident when he was assisting a broken down vehicle, and another car slammed into the vehicle he was under. My dad had an aneurysm. I was alone, no shoulder to cry on. The instant anyone from your church saw me, they came to me with open arms. They prayed for my dad, as well.My dad succumbed to his injury on Feb 13th. I want to thank the first 2 ladies that embraced me, and everyone else hat prayed for my dad, as well. What a God loving family you have at your church!

Christ-centered worship, wonderful family atmosphere and groups for every age. All of the preaching is based in scripture. Morning services on Sunday and evenings on Wednesday.

I thought I would not like a large church, but this place feels like a small church. The atmosphere is not at all intimidating, and, with numerous small groups of people with so many varied interests, anyone can find a place of comfort.

I attended here several years ago and it was filled with great people.Loved going to heat Gods word then heading to the beach on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.Therr is a biker ministry that attends here.And they have alot of programs and help the community so much.

I LOVE Church at the mall! I love the MOPS program and all the church does to make it possible. My daughter enjoys the nursery, which is very clean!
