Joey the barkeep is the absolute GOAT. Really helped my son and I choose the food and drinks(every drink was great!) (the steak quesadilla was very good and came out fresh)

Amazing views. Located on 8th floor you’ll see far and wide views. Pool 🎱 game was available and we had fun playing. they also have swimming pool on the same floor. Lots drinks and bar food

Spectacular views of Clearwater Beach! Excellent views, excellent service! Steak tacos were delicious and great queso too! We had a frozen mango daqari and a 2 long Island iced teas. Clearwater Beach views while dining. We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon about 1:30 and didn't have to wait for a table. You do NOT have to be a guest of the hotel to dine here! We used the valet parking and the restaurant validated our valet ticket and we were not charged to park! They have a beach parking sign for $38 for the day to park. We got ice cream from Beverly's right by the restaurant. The ice cream was delicious and old fashioned! I tried a 2 scoop waffle cone with peanut butter cup and rocky road. Yummy! 😋 With these fantastic views and delicious steak tacos...we will be back very soon.

Great rooftop spot with beautiful view and shaded seating. The carne asada tacos were good, the appetizer had good queso and decent salsa - not spicy despite being habanero. The tacos came with chips and salsa as the side. Great waiter. Very kind personable guy. Drinks are currently $16 dollars for cocktails and frozen alike. They're delish. The rum runner is good, the gulf sunset is good, the strawberry basil is very crisp and mild. There's a half price happy hour, but it's certain drinks only, so be sure to ask your bartender. If you're staying at the Hyatt you can charge to your room. Bring your ID for drinks if you look younger.

Tropico Rooftop Cantina located from the 8th floor of the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa. They offers some great cocktails. TIKi patron with a slice of pineapple was one of the best I have had. It’s also the perfect spot to watch the sunset, the magnificent views from the roof top are stunning looking out at the white sandy beach.

Tropico Rooftop Cantina offers some great cocktails 🍹 For us it was some margaritas, watermelon & jalapeno and the other one hibiscus flavored. Both were so refreshing and delicious. The views from here are stunning looking out at the beach from the 8th floor. Service even available from the pool and loungers. Flip the flag up for a server to get your order. Cheers

Great food, service, and view of Clearwater Beach. Joey B was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Margaritas were delicious. Chips, queso, guacamole, and salsa were a perfect mix to pair with the drinks.

The view is legit everything! Wish there were good options to choose from but the chips and fire roasted salsa and queso was really good. Really tasty drinks as well

This is an excellent place to take visitors from out of town, or a great place if you're visiting our city. The service was impeccable. The cocktails have a nice heavy pour and the food was outstanding. I had the steak tacos as did my wife. They have slices of tender medium cooked steak and a wonderful sauce on top. The views are a great backdrop. If you valet or self park, Tropico will validate. The meal and cocktails were about $120 with tip. I know it seems steep for tacos and chips with salsa, but the experience is worth it. I highly recommend it.

We didn't eat here but we stopped by a couple times for drinks. The wonderful young lady who made us our drinks had a great sense of humor, she was kind and helpful, a terrific conversationalist, and was quite intelligent as well. And she also made fabulous drinks!!! Thank you so very much Carina!!! You are absolutely beautiful, inside and out!!! Don't ever lose that smile!

I ate lunch here with my teen boys. We had the spicy meat tacos, kids quesadea, and a burger. The food was really good! Wait staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Bill for me plus 3 hungry boys was $65. That included 2 sodas and a mimosa. Quite reasonable for a hotel in a prime tourist area. This Cantina is located on the 8th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, right next to the pool. Alcohol drinks were a tad weak but other than that it was perfect. 4 seat tables as well as bar seating was available all day long. It was busy but not a long wait. Perfect!!!!

We came around 6pm and there weren't too many people, so service was incredibly fast!! Server recommended the wings and boy am I glad I listened! Beyond delicious!

Can’t rave about this place enough. Even the promotional Rum Runners that we got from checking into the hotel for free, our otherwise low expectations of typical rooftop bars were blown… off the roof lol. Parents, myself and wifey ordered quite a few things off their menu, from their shrimp & fish & pork (AlPastor) & vegan option tacos (wife is Vegan)… to their SanMiguel ChiknWings & their rendition of Elotes (grilled Mexican street corn)? Superb. Probs one of the most impressive poolside bars I’ve hit in Florida, my family thought just as much too.

Found another great rooftop bar! Food prices are a bit high and drinks are small for the price. That's what being this close to the beach means. Nice atmosphere and good service.
