Big Tom's Diner

I'm a fan of the retro era, and this restaurant nails it. The staff wear diner uniforms and the walls have posters that make you feel like you went back in time. My husband and I have come here 3 times now, and this is what we ordered last time. My husband ordered the supreme breakfast burritos with a side of potatoes, and I ordered a pancake, eggs, and sausages. They were really good. They give you so much food for less money than in fast food restaurants. Big Tom's Diner is one of those restaurants that caused us to no longer buy breakfast in fast food restaurants. This is quality breakfast for less. Their corned beef hash is to die for, I ordered it the first two times we came for breakfast. The eggs Benedict and their potato casserole are amazing. Their biscuits are big and fluffy as well. Great service and food for an affordable price! 🍽

First time trying did not disappoint, portions are very big only complaint I have is the t-bone steak was very tough even being cooked medium, I think it was just the cut of meat though. Everything else was really delicious

Great food and reasonable prices! Huge portions and nice variety of items. Our waitress Shirley was very attentive and friendly. Came for breakfast but will definitely try lunch and dinner.

Holy Moly! Big Tom's hit it out of the park today for breakfast. I asked the waitress if I could create a bowl or skillet with what I wanted and the made it happen! The portions are insane but so very tasty!! If you are a biscuit and gravy fan, get the biscuits and gravy!!! Tiffany was a phenomenal waitress, kind and went above and beyond! She kept coffee coming and it was like she knew what we wanted before we knew!! Great food at a great price!! Can't wait to come back! Thank you

Stopped in for the first time at Tom's diner.
We were seated right away. The inside of the store looks nice and clean. The waitress was really nice and took our drink order and gave us time to look at the menu.
Marilyn got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans and some onion rings.
I grabbed the fried mushrooms and a chef salad.
The waitress also brought out some breadsticks I didn't get any but Marilyn said they were really good.
We both like diet Coke and they did have that on the menu.
We both really enjoyed our meals and we will be going back there.

Hope they never change! So far best place to eat! Variety, prices, atmosphere, food flavor. The only thing and I totally understand is that they close at 3:00 on Sundays. So be there on time. Food is amazing and the corn nuggets the best with powder sugar!!!! Ugh i am all ready hungry for them! 🤗

Big Tom’s diner packed parking lot is always a good sign. Lots of lots of options every kind of food you can think of. Cheeseburger fish sandwich. All kinds of condiments on the tables. mustard, hot pepper sauce Heinz 57, A1 sauce.. with the fish sandwich you get the homemade coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce and a ridiculously large piece of fish on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions and crinkle fries. My absolute favorite piece of fish was so big. I didn’t need any of the fixings, including the fish fries and coleslaw were plenty With iced tea was $14.32 out the door.

The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I had the pork chops with eggs and a biscuit. And let me tell you, those biscuits have got to be the best biscuits I have ever had. Flaky, buttery and just plain spectacular. My granddaughter had the fries top like a pizza. That was so interesting yet delicious. Good idea for those that can't have gluten. Sub the crust with fries and top it just like a pizza. Amazing. My daughter absolutely enjoyed her meal as well. We ordered the fried mushrooms as an app, and those were amazing. Started out breakfast off perfectly.
The server was such a delight. Sweet, kind and very attentive. Wish I could remember her name, because she absolutely deserves the praise.
Overall we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Definitely making a return trip.

Catrina is the best server. She knows our preferences and takes care that she gets them for us. The menu is full, big portions and delicious. I love the fried white fish, or grilled. The fish and chips are excellent also.

Server was very attentive to our needs. Fried mushrooms were phenomenal. They have a breakfast platter that includes ham, bacon, sausage, eggs,grits, and biscuits and gravy, big enough for 2 people. Definitely returning

My wife and I winter in Lake Wales and met at Big Tom's today for lunch with friends from Ohio. This was our first visit. The food was quite delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very good. It was well worth the trip! We plan to dine here again.

Stumbled upon this diner after a long day and we were not disappointed. from our waitress to the food, this what to expect from diner food. The rarity we also had here was all of our entrees were HOT. The restaurant could use an update to the restrooms which were clean but need water pressure for the sink and just a general redux. We will come back as the prices are perfect. food was great and the staff was friendly.

staff are really nice, and the food are hot, except my hubby ordered babies rides, even bun are also delicious, prices are very reasonable, next time /year must try theirs breakfast, many customers in evening, so the Washroom is a little bit dirty, but decor and atmosphere are very good

Big Tom's is an awesome Diner. Family friendly atmosphere, polite and attentive waitresses. The food is amazing. Homestyle cooking in nice full portions and reasonable prices. Big Tom's has become one of my favorite local spots! You won't regret eating there

we were here october 14,2022.still the same awesome restaurant Fast,friendly fresh. People are awesome and very polite and attentive. Breakfast all day. Been once for breakfast, today for dinner.wont dissapoint. Food is awesome, servers even better. Family place for sure. You feel welcome and you feel like they know you.

Nice place to eat. Food and service were great. We had the Ruben sandwich, Redneck fries "they were delicious and enough to share" and Buffalo chicken wings.

Thursday, April 28th we ate at Big Tom's Diner just outside of Auburndale. . . .The one plate is pulled pork, fries, & chees; the other plate is/was meatloaf with black eyed peas, and the third plate has greens, green beans and more black eyed peas - no we could not eat all of this! Excellent food! A huge menu - so many choices. Fantastic service. Prices are too low for the quality and quantity of the food! We'll be back!

Huge portions for the prices. Nice, clean restaurant with great, friendly service. Their menu is diverse and has something for everyone. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's visiting the area from out of town like me. You won't be disappointed. I went in hungry and left happy.
