Such an amazing store that I have supported for over 30 years. All my shoes are from here. This local icon will rebuild from their devastating fire to once again be a local leader for all their loyal customers. Unmatched customer service, great products, and always evolving to meet the current needs. It is such a unique store that really offers something for everyone! Much larger than it appears from the road with great products in every corner. I have witnessed so many growth changes through the years and have been impressed every time. Thank you Lloyd Clarke Sports for being here and for working hard to come back quickly!

We have been shopping at Lloyd Clarke for almost 30 years. Raising three kids who are active in many sports, this was always our "go to" for most everything. It is great to go into a store when you know each other. We love knowing Dana and staff will always have the knowledge of the products to steer us in the right direction. they have such great class and integrity all around. Its a great place for a quick gift or gift to yourself!

Love this store, great selection of all kinds of athletic and outdoor gear. I prefer them to REI. Unfortunately closed until spring 2024 due to a fire.

As a local chiropractor I know the importance of proper footwear for stability of the body. I’ve been referring patients to Lloyd Clark’s for years. They have a vast amount of knowledge. Their staff will get you into the correct pair shoes!!!

The best running/outdoors store in GNV, hands down. Dana, Daniel and all the other employees are always so helpful. They are super knowledgeable about what they carry and can provide great advice/suggestions depending on what you need. Truly a local business gem. Even though they are temporarily closed right now due to a fire, I am confident when they reopen it will be better than ever!

My friend and I were searching for a travel backpack for a missions trip. This place came up in my local search and I was floored when I walked in! Not only was Ian and their staff super helpful and kind, but their selection and range was better than any stores we had been to. We actually had options with fair prices! Highly recommend this place for any and all outdoor needs. Even their clothing was incredible and their shoe selection, outstanding!

My experiences here have always been positive. The staff is helpful and the selection is superb. Hoping they bounce back quickly after the recent fire! <3

I started an exercise program about two weeks ago and I realized I did not have the correct shoes. I visited Lloyd Clark Sports today and I had an amazing visit. Great store! I really encourage anyone looking for a good sporting goods store to give it a try. Locally owned. Excellent service and good selection. Much better experience than going to Dick’s or REI.

Best running shoes in Gainesville. No contest. Save yourself some time and just go there first.

The customer service was friendly and I didn't feel pressured to buy. I was able to take my time. I did call beforehand because this was my first visit to see if they had name brand shoes like Nike or Rebox, etc and they did but I guess the selection was smaller than I anticipated but none the less I found a pair of Brooks that are very comfortable and perfect for running, walking or exercising which is what I was looking for. There was a large variety of apparel and other things although I was there just for shoes. I'd give it a 5 bc it's not their fault I was looking for a larger variety but the experience was great and I did find a brand I'm unfamiliar with but very happy with. Prices seemed fair as well.

Staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Very welcoming and understanding of your preferences. If I lived near Gainesville I would go here any time I needed gear.

They are sincere about helping guide you to the right items. Also, unlike any other store, they will find the right shoe for you, for how you run and what you need to protect your feet.

First time customer today. Hadn’t bought running shoes at a brick and mortar store in ages, but after online shoe shopping failures, decided to try Lloyd Clarke. So glad I did! Great customer service, and will gladly shop there again in the future.

I’ve purchased several pairs of “toe shoes”, Vibram 5 Fingers, from Lloyd Clark Sports over the years. I am always satisfied with their selection of shoes, over all prices, and customer care. I have never been disappointed while shopping here. I will continue to buy my shoes here as long as they stock them.

Awesome selection of sports clothing for everything from running to lacrosse to fishing to just hanging outside on a beautiful Florida day!

They've expanded their store and offer even more items than previously. You can find a ton of hiking and camping gear as well as stand up paddleboards now. They even have a section dedicated to law enforcement clothing and gear. And there's probably the best selection of pocketknives in town here too.

Lloyd Clarke's has always had the best service for shoes. Their staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I have been coming here for many years and they are very consistent. I highly recommend. I am a bargain shopper so check out their close-out sales sometimes half off shoes because they are older model.
