This was our first time staying in a tavern room at the market square tavern. Normally we rent a colonial house and I have to say, I think we just might rent tavern rooms from here on out. They are comfortable. Have nice toiletries. And a beautiful gathering room! It's perfect for 2 people. We of course will book a house when we have family with us, but for just the 2 of us, it was perfect!

We stayed in the Tavern Rooms, right in the main area of Colonial Williamsburg. Super cute and as "authentic" as you can get. Perfect space and very cool rooms for those hot July days. We had to walk to the main resort to use the pool but it was not a problem. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend staying here. If we had a larger group, I would definitely stay in one of the houses. They are adorable.

My very first time experiencing something so elegant and beautiful. This place is a historical resort with a lot of things to do and experience. Museums, horse and carriage rides, nice restaurants, and a whole lot more. I was here for my birthday and it's something that I'll NEVER FORGET

Being able to step out into colonial Williamsburg without needing to find parking or riding the bus was great. It has your basic needs- bed, bath, etc.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable, a little on the firm side (but it is how I like it).

I have always wanted to stay in one of the Colonial Houses after many, many visits to Colonial Williamsburg over the years. This trip I was traveling by myself and stayed at a room in the Market Street Tavern. Perfect central location, charming Colonial style with a very high canopy bed! My air conditioning was not cooling fast enough and after calling Reception at the Inn- the repairman came immediately and resolved- Thanks Stuart! Check in at the beautiful Inn was done efficiently and graciously. I have loved the ambience of these Colonial houses and would highly recommend to others.

We had a great stay at the Nicholas Tyler Laundry house. It fit our family perfectly and was very comfortable. We had a fun experience living in a colonial home for a few days.

I recently stayed in a queen tavern room. My room was in Market Square Tavern which is one of the original buildings in Colonial Williamsburg. The decor was well suited to the space which is conveniently located right on Duke of Gloucester Street. The room was very spacious and featured a canopy bed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I visit Williamsburg at least twice a year and this is my second stay in a colonial house and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Colonial Williamsburg experience. I have already booked another house for the holiday season and look forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing experience. 5-night stay in Lightfoot Tenement at Francis & England. Cross the street and you’re in Colonial Williamsburg. The house is sweet. There is a living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a bedroom with a canopy bed. The garden behind the house is beautiful. If you’re driving, just park at the reserved spaces at the back of the garden. There’s no WiFi, so you can focus on having your private time with your loved ones. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

Incredible experience! So charming but clean and with modern bathroom. We stayed at Moddy Kitchen so small house, we love'd it. Good choice to stay in the heart of Williamsburg and walking distance to restaurants.

Stayed in a two twin bedroom facing Gloucester Street. Very convenient being right at the attractions. Gave us a place to escape the hot heat in the afternoon(and drop off purchases). Can see carriage rides passing by and the 5pm marching into evening troop. Parking provided. Very helpful staff. Affiliated with the main Williamsburg Hotel. Shuttle bus stop nearby. Hotel clean. Has a k-cup machine(in room). No fridge no microwave. Has a small tv in a cubby(but who comes here for tv). Ice machine available. I recommend a small cooler for snacks or drinks. Room service via phone delivered from affiliated hotel. Check in/out is over there as well ;) I certainly would stay again. Our ladies trip was perfect!

Excellent accommodations mere minutes from Colonial Williamsburg. The houses are from the 18th century with some modern things like power and running water. Parking is conveniently private so you don't have to fight with others for space. I would highly recommend staying here. Some of the houses don't have WiFi, so take that into consideration.

The houses are adorable and unique. I was worried because I'm allergic to dust but there were no problems. Good heat, enough power strips, and nice bathrooms.

We really enjoyed staying at this place. It was convenient and exactly what we needed. The price was very affordable. It wasn't fancy..but was very nice. Only complaint was the bed wasn't that comfortable and check-in was tricky because it is handled at another place after 5.
