Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks

Great location but may be a little hard to get to depending on which direction you're coming from.

Nice check in, received upgrade to a slightly larger room. This is the first Marriott in a while that actually had the executive lounge open. It's a great benefit with the evening snack but even better was the breakfast.

The rooms were decent and clean. TV was updated with some smart functionality and streaming.

Seems to be having some issues with electronic key cards on your phone so don't count on that working when you get there. I ended up having to go back down after I got there since I figured I didn't need to stop at the desk. Go get a key card as you check in.

This is an excellent hotel!! I'm having a hard time writing this review because every part of my experience was nothing less than satisfying. There is so much I can type about this place, but people can only read so much for so long.
I intend on returning in the future to enjoy the downstairs beautiful and luxurious restaurant area and the scenery of the lobby and hallways. Kitchen staff, waiters and waitresses operate in the most excellent and professional manner.

I was handled with respect, honor, dignity and consideration. I was also graced with the presence of a couple of college basketball coaches and their team. It was pretty exciting. They played Georgetown one of those nights. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Right off Route 50 and I66. Easy access. But more importantly the staff here has always been great to me and my family. Handling any need or issue. The restaurant is very good and relaxing and the Chef and servers/bartenders are on point!

Overall the hotel was great for a business trip, and I had no complaints whatsoever. The stage (that I dealt with were friendly) and helpful, my room was nice, and I could run across the street to the mall to grab a bit to eat; although I can't speak to the room costs as that was covered for me. However, if you are coming with a family, it's not a great hotel as it looks more designed for conferences; and I would agree wihe with other reviews saying that it isn't the easiest to get to (depending on what airport you're coming from).

This has truly been the best place I've ever stayed. The front desk are the greatest people I've dealt with. There was some confusion on our check in and they were super easy to work with. Kudos to the Marriott staff. Drinks and dinner at the bar.... As nother round of applause. Thank you!

The hotel was so clean. Rooms were immaculate and the staff friendly. When they saw you, they would always smile and say hello. Served a good breakfast. Bar at night was great. Would stay here again.

I was blown away by the hospitality and professionalism of the staff at the Fairfax Marriott. I was over last weekend for a conference and it was a pleasure to stay here.
The rooms were well kept, clean, with a subtle touch of dark tones. It was also well equipped with towels and all amenities needed. I was able to get some lunch at their restaurant and it was super delicious, so definitely try their turkey club sandwich. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

Nice hotel. Housekeeping staff was AMAZING. Turned over room so fast and pleasantly even after we accidentally left the DND notice up. Very appreciative to them for that. Overall great experience and is conveniently located in mall and right next to high to go wherever you need to. Would definitely stay again.

This is a must stay for your travels. Situated in a very strategic spot, it's in the Fair Oaks Mall, making everything walkable. Rooms to service were on point. A lot of activities are near museums, restaurants, and parks. Highly recommended!

Martin is the Man! I stay here frequently for work and usually check in towards the evening. Martin knows who I am, always has good conversation, and always ensures my stay is as best as possible. I stay at different Marriotts around the US and Martin is the best Front Desk associate I’ve had. Thanks Martin and the Marriott staff!

We recently stayed at the Marriott Fair Oaks for a 60th high school reunion. The Marriott associates were amazingly gracious and supportive and helped to make our 60th reunion weekend such a success. We are especially grateful to Tanay, Maria, Melissa, and Executive Chef Naim. Everyone who stayed at the hotel were pleased with their rooms. Our classmates were very complimentary of all the friendly wait staff who responded quickly, efficiently and with a smile and a laugh to meet their individual drink and dinner orders. We were very grateful that we were able to all be together throughout the weekend in the space near the bar. Everyone had such a great time visiting in a comfortable space with classmates they had not seen for many years.
We had wonderful support from everyone at the hotel from our very first contact many months ago, through several planning visits, and over the weekend itself. There were no unpleasant surprises and everyone in the organization went out of their way to make sure this event was a success.

This hotel never disappoints! Super friendly desk clerks, spotless rooms, great wi-fi service, huge TV in the room. Always a great stay!

This review is about our event that was held at the Fairfax Marriott this past weekend. I've been working with the hotel over the past two years for our event. Seth has been our Sales and Catering Administrator. He was a tremendous help with our room block and implementing some of our special requests for guests coming from out of town. He was quick to respond to emails and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

We had three different Directors of Catering while we were planning this event. Luckily, we landed with Lucy. She was incredible to work with, always calm and willing to see how she could accommodate all of our requests. She understand what I was working towards but also understand my budget concerns. She worked so well with my event planner, photographer, and design team. I appreciated her honesty when she couldn't do something but she was able to offer other suggestions or work with what others on my team came up with. I was so glad I had her to problem solve with. She was very responsive to emails. Our event was fantastic and our friends and family are still talking about how great the food was. Our event would not have been the same without Lucy!

A big thank you to everyone at the Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks. Everyone was pleasant and always willing to be accommodating. If you need a venue site, you will be very happy here.

Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks is a nice hotel. It's clean, the finishes are modern/updated, and the staff is helpful/courteous. The hotel bar has a wide selection and the lounge provides appetizers in the early evening, desserts a bit later, and breakfast in the morning, for those with appropriate status.

I'm visiting the area for a work trip, will be back, and will continue to stay here given my present experience. Are there other guests at this hotel? Many? Thankfully, I don't hear them from my room.

Nice hotel and great location. Easy to get to the DC area and being across from a great mall was super convenient.

Rooms are comfy, nice beds, however the best of all: the people who works there, Isa, Sam, Jennifer, Juanita, Sami and the rest of the staff are so kind, friendly and ready to help you any time you need.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel . Check-in and Check-out process was very quick . Lobby , atrium & rooms are very clean . Staff is kind & prompt to help us get things we forgot from toiletry kit . Recommend this place anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Somewhat dated but wow what a superb set of people and in particular Danisha and Manisha who are a credit to Marriott

Great hotel. Rooms are pretty up-to-date. Everything clean and worked well. Comfortable bed and a huge TV. Convenient location to the highway, and no road noise. Plenty of parking available. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rate. Not the best, but nothing bad about it. Check-in slow because there was only one person at the desk, but he worked as fast as he could. I would stay here again.
