Meiji

I have been going here now for several years and it is past time to share the consistency of the food and service. The building is somewhat generic, and that is where it ends. Even when somewhat shorthanded, they all strive to meet and needs.

They have both Chinese and Japanese delights. Their sushi is always fresh and their seafood and others delightful with both tasty and generous portions.

The Beef w/ broccoli lunch special was delicious! It's wonderful that it comes with veggie fried rice (or lo mein) instead of the typical pork fried rice. The scallion pancakes are crisp and flavorful. A very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It's a little off the beaten path but very accessible from the main routes, definitely worth a short detour. We live a half hour away and it's worth the trip.

We were the only ones in the sitting side. Most patrons were at the bar. The upholstery needs updating. Our waitress, Sam, was wonderful. My lunch was great. Had the Singapore Rice Noodles medium. I like spicy foods but didn't want to chance getting it extra spicy. Medium was just right. My husband's dish, beef and broccoli was delicious. The beef was very tender. Looking forward to going back. Try the scallion pancakes. Delish!

Authentic Chinese food! Food tastes great and service is great too!

They also have a bar area with nice drinking vibe.

I have past this place for years and decided the other night to go. Well def not disappointed. Our bartender/server was just top notch. It’s been a long time that we had someone pack up the left overs. Just on point. We did not catch her name but just overall amazing experience.

Gready food, Tony is the best bartender, big TVs to watch your favorite sports games definitely good spot to stop by get some food and kick back.

We were coming back from Boston Logan airport to get to Connecticut and stopped at this restaurant and the service was amazing and the food was very good.

I got take out. It was delicious. Didn't wait long at all. Love the food.

I adore this eatery! The ambiance is fantastic! The meal is freshly prepared and made to order. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the wait staff is incredibly kind. Prices are in line with expectations.

A unusual spot for a Chinese restaurant . our first visit was nice , greeted by friendly staff that seated us immediately . Food was outstanding, reasonable price.

So sorry we didnt try here sooner!
The Orange Flavor Beef is amazing! So many places dump red pepper flakes and it Kills the orange.
We had some Sesame Tofu, veggie fried rice and Philadelphia roll and every bite was incredibly satisfying.
Cant wait to go back!

I've been going to Meiji since the day it opened. The family who owns and runs this restaurant are exemplary people. I've never had a bad experience. I adore Tony the bartender and everyone always asks how my family is doing, how my job is, etc. They keep a great menu, the foods always fresh and we all know how good the maitais are if you've been! It's extremely family friendly as well as accommodating for big parties, my boyfriend planned a surprise birthday party for me there last year! We'll always talk highly about johns restaurant and his excellent staff.

I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is great! The food is made to order; really fresh. Everything we had was excellent and the wait staff are really friendly. Prices are what you would expect to pay.

Consistently great food. We eat here a lot, both dine in and take out. Jalapeño chicken and fried rice are especially delicious. General Gao and basil chicken are also good options.

Super friendly owners, good staff and really fresh and great food, with a typically friendly atmosphere. My boys love the sesame chicken. The super friendly waitresses, especially Emily always make them smile. John, the owner has even made them balloons before. We love it here, especially after their baseball games when they're treated like superstars.

When we first arrived the people were really nice the atmosphere was good, but what stood out the most was the waitress Christine who was open and honest, I felt the vibe I would recommend my friends to come here just off her energy she brings to the business.

I love this place for dine in or take out..their food is always on point, we’re never disappointed with anything but lately I’ve noticed their wings are cut in half and they’re the size of pigeons wings, not happy because I loved the wings..
