Sonny's Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria

Sonny's is a generational tradition in our household. We love their pizza & pasta. We drive up to Door County a few times a year just to eat there. The waitstaff is always amazing & the food never disappoints!

Amazing food! HUGE portions and a decent price. I strongly recommend the Linguine Pomodoro. Beautiful atmosphere right on the water. Service was good, not great. The host seating people must have been new. He was not very accommodating to our table needs and shrugged them off, but the problem was quickly resolved by someone else. Our waitress had to be asked numerous times for the same requested refill. It wasn't a huge deal, and we will definitely be back!

Pretty good pizza with a lot of options. The pasta dishes are huge portions. Overall we liked the atmosphere and view, and enjoyed the great service. This place is worth a stop if you’re in the area, and is one of the few places open after 3pm on a weekday.

The pretzel is huge. See my finger for proportion. So definitely order if you got more than 2 people.

The boneless wings had the right amount of sauce on it and was really good. The honey bbq and Nashville Hot.

This place was such an amazing find! The reviews were what did it for me so I figured why not add to what everyone already knows 🥰 This place was a hit! You could smell nothing but pizza as you walked in the door and I definitely see why! We enjoyed every single thing we consumed! The best! There’s something for everyone! 10/10

Really nice spot. The pizza is really good and the staff are really nice. We got the Hawaiian pizza and the chicken Alfredo pizza which were both great. It is in a really scenic location as well. The restraunt was also very clean. Definitely a good spot to stop if you are in the area and want some good pizza.

We had the buffet and they had a nice selection of different pizzas to choose from, and to all you I don't like pineapple on pizza people they one upped you with a cherry pizza LOL, it was kinda sweet but not bad

My husband and I tried Sonny's for the first time during a small birthday getaway to Sturgeon Bay. The parking lot was jammed packed but we were seated immediately. We ordered a personal pizza and lobster ravioli, which I highly recommend. The salad bar was included and was a nice starter, too. Best of all, the service was impeccable. Our server, Dana, had refills on our table before we even had to ask. She was extremely friendly, bubbly and willing to chat. Just overall very down-to-earth and left a good impression on us for our first visit. The atmosphere was relaxed and there was a great music selection playing overhead. All in all a great evening out. Will return! Thanks, Dana, for an awesome birthday dinner!

Really enjoyed my visit tonight. Staff was kind and courteous. They visited enough to know I'm tended to properly, and thankfully didn't over visit either. Just a great place to eat and have a drink. My pizza was very well made and tasty!

Get a table with a water view...and every item off the menu is a win. I also recommend the frozen blueberry margarita - treat yourself to the full experience, and you'll be leaving happy :)

We had a wonderful meal and drinks with friends! Even with all the cars we went in, received a buzzer and only waited about 20 minutes. Outside or inside dining too!! We had a booth but you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery from the tables along the windows. My friend and I had the Taco salad and guys had the shrimp special! Both very good and filling!

Only the 2nd time visiting Door County as well as the 1st time dining here and went with the lunch buffet.

Excellent location near the Sturgeon Bay Bridge with some lovely views of the bay. I would imagine this place gets packed and kickin' late night on the wknds.

Venue is kept clean/sanitized, staff is friendly, prices seem reasonable especially the all-you-can-eat pizza & salad buffet at only $7.99 per adult, believe it was $4.99 or $5.99 for my 6 year old son.

Pizza was good, salad could've been better but no biggie. Very nice bar area and next time we come up for a visit, definitely gonna have some drinks outside.

We stumbled on this place by accident really. We were looking for a place to watch the Packers and saw that the parking lot was mostly full, so we thought it might be a good option. Thankfully we were correct! This is a great place to sit at the bar and watch a game. There are at least 5 TVs, which will allow you to see from pretty much any seat.
We ordered a pizza and it was brought out about 15 to 20 minutes later....Delicious! Many different pizzas to choose from. Ranging from deep dish to neapolitan. Many other Italian dishes available. If the bar area isn't your thing, the dining area is very classy looking. There's great views of the lake and marina for beautiful picture opportunities. The staff was very friendly and quick to make sure we had full glasses. There's not one negative thing we experienced here. Can't wait to come back!

We visited the restaurant over Labor day weekend and it was crowded. So decided to do a takeout and just did an impromptu picnic in the harbour right in front of the restaurant (there are a couple of picnic tables).

We bought bruschetta (no photos because we polished them off right away 😂), thin crust gourmet veggie pizza, stuffed gnocchi pesto and Tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious and the gnocchi especially was melt-in-the-mouth yumminess. This is a must-visit restaurant if you are ever in the area.

(I'm glad we did the take-out because we saw a bridal party coming in right after we ordered, LOL)

We had such a fun time here. Expected the half hour wait on arrival, but we were able to step downstairs to the Bridge Up Brewing Company for a fun atmosphere, and great drinks. The food at Sonny's was excellent! Will absolutely make a return trip.

Chicago-style, family-owned pizzeria with amazing lake views. Authentic italian ingredients and entrees which will win you over. We indulged in the following menu items and highly recommend that they be eaten together: lobster ravioli w/ shrimp, chicken alfredo pizza, margarita pizza and rigatoni boscaiola. And of course, if you're of age, you would want to wash it down with a few glasses of Prosecco. With an abundance of outdoor dining options alongside of accessibile waitstaff, no wonder why this establishment has been open for over 20 years. Kudos to both the owner and management for providing a space where friends and families can enjoy hearty souful bites at an affordable price. If you've ever been to Little Italy in NYC (Bronx), this dining experience is extremely reminiscent of that.

We ordered the Sonny’s signature pizza with thin crust. It was very good we will eat here again. Their menu has a variety of pizzas & Italian dishes to choose from. Also ordered 2 Beer Up knee high beers. The brewery is downstairs & this particular beer was very smooth & easy drinking. A beer list includes a good variety of beers from Beer Up & other Door County breweries.

Wonderful Italian restaurant on the water. You can eat outside or in. Great good & service. Can be busy at times. Locally owned. The pizza was great! They even have a shuttle if your staying in the downtown area.

The view from the bar is breath taking all year, the food is the best pizza in Wisconsin. Service is outstanding busy or slow they are on top of things, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun.
