Tranquil Timbers Campground

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Everyone was so friendly, staff and other campers. Very clean, definitely would come back!

I was there to pick people up for a fishing trip. I wish they had more room so when you pull in with a boat trailer you can turn around instead of having to back up into their entrance

One of our favorite camp sites. We rented a cabin to have AC for our dogs, it was very clean and super easy access to the bathrooms which are by far the cleanest restrooms I've ever used in a campsite. We used the pool which was fun, and it looks like there's a lot of activities on the site to keep kids busy (playground, mini golf that they were actively repairing, tennis courts I think). Employees were very friendly and helpful with giving tips on where to visit while there. Loved it, will be sure to visit again.

This is a great place to stay. Quiet, beautiful scenery, friendly people.

Wonderful weekend! Very nice cabin. Definitely worth the money!!! Centrally located to state parks. Very clean too! Nice shower houses. Will come back for sure!

Our go to place for over 20 years. Something for all ages. This is a campground with some basic rental cabins and furnished park model trailers. Seasonal sites have their own sections. Handles large units with pull through.

We had stayed at Tranquil Timbers in the past, and decided to stay again while visiting friends in Sturgeon Bay.
We will certainly be back.

What an apt name. Even on the weekend this place was nice and peaceful. Plenty of trees for shade on those hot August days. Nice amenities and plenty of things to do.

Not so far from Sturgeon Bay that it's a long drive to get supplies, but far enough off the beaten path to not have to deal with highway noise.

Friendly and helpful staff that work hard to keep everything clean. The showers and bathroom were always spotless.

Many of the guests we met have been coming here for decades. Enough said!

So, this is a hidden gem. What a wonderful place to take the family to really relax but still camp. Highly suggest. Neat little store, pool, mini golf, little fun activities, wonderful memories and we'll be back.

I love this campground, the bathrooms are well kept. The sites are nice. They include water and electric, it would be nice to have sewer since you’re already connected to water. I loved our week long stay here.

We were in sturgeon bay for a softball tournament and wanted to stay at a campsite with cabins and found this one. It was one of the best campsites that we have ever been to. The inside of the cabin was very clean but the porch area was spider heaven. Whoever says that the campground is not kid friendly, is wrong. They had a retro game show where the kids played minute to win it. It was a very cool experience with pretty decent prizes. We plan on getting the same cabins next year for the tournament. The pool area was very nice. They also had a movie night for the family. The store they have is also very nice and very decently priced. For example a two scoop ice cream cone was two bucks.

My family stayed for a family vacation in one of the deluxe cabins. It was incredible. The cabin was very clean and cozy! The staff was kind and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. If you are looking for family fun and/or peace and quiet this is the place. Thanks for a great week!!!

Love this place! Great for overnight stay or long visits to Door County. Very very kid and dog friendly, indoor showers and bathrooms, kiddie and an adult pool, too. They provide activities weekly that have a theme so it makes it really fun for short or long visits. Conveniently located on the southern part of Sturgeon Bay. Oh, it is gated and gas a store for NEEDED camping things and the dont mark things up so it doesn't BREAK the bank!

Even though there was a foot of snow on the ground it is still a beautiful place. It was so white and bright. My friend has a camper he was checking on and the roads going through the park were nicely plowed. I would love to visit in the summer when the pool is open for my 10 year old daughter. And everything else is open and the park is active.

Had a wonderful time there. Good kind hosts. Excellent location. It's typically quiet and relaxing during the week. During the weekend it's louder and more high strung, but every campground in the area is like that.

We loved this campground. It truly was tranquil. It has a state park feel. It is located an easy bike ride to Sturgeon Bay which is so safe, friendly and so much to do.

We stayed here last weekend. The place was absolutely beautiful! And the staff is VERY friendly and courteous. I am very impressed as this is the best campground my family has stayed at yet. The showers/restrooms were very clean and tidy. The sites are large and have plenty of room for each site. Only issue we had was the Wi-Fi did not work the best to get the Packer game but hey....we were on vacation and didn't really need internet! We will definitely be coming back and are even considering a seasonal site!

Camped in a class A and the campsites were very large, perfect is the word. Everyone friendly and lot's were shaded . Great place 👌 👍
