Bissell Nature Center

Please Touch! Very hands on, a beautiful garden native garden busy with birds, butterflies, bees, chipmunks, etc. We lounged in rocking chairs and watched the birds in the garden like it was live online. There's an indoor beaver hut and a lot of not creepy taxidermy animals and bones to investigate. There's even a live rattlesnake to check out. Outside has a pavilion, pond, trails, and playground. If you like nature you'll find something that interests you, if you love nature everything will interest you. Biggest trees we've seen in Ohio!

Love going here. Such a nice place for kids to go and learn about nature. So many animals and plants to look at.

A wonderful place, and and extremely enjoyable and educational experience. Seeing and learning about all of the native animals and plants, I had no idea there was such a broad variety! Glad I visited. Will definitely return!

This is a cute little center for kids to explore. Walking trails are not too long and just rough enough for adventure.

Very friendly/helpful workers. Lots of hands on. Lots of learning stations. Grandchilden and I enjoyed it.

Beautiful area! The staff were very informative in the wildlife of the wetland. We did some bird watching and walked around the pond. Peaceful. Can’t wait to come back to explore more of the trails.
