Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Athens

We were so pleased. Extremely clean, liked the people that work there. Breakfast very good and lady in charge was on top of things.
Little things like towels rolled up for bikers to wipe their bikes, we have never seen that before. Highly recommend.

Room was incredibly clean couldn’t find a spot of dust even if you tried the card said Patricia had cleaned it, I made sure to leave a very nice tip. Very accommodating, plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. Was very pleased with my experience

I have stayed in all of the big name hotels in Athens while visiting my daughter and this was my 1st time staying at the Fairfield Inn. It is a beautiful hotel. It was clean, all staff were extremely helpful and very sweet. I loved being able watch Netflix or Max instead of just tv. The huge shower was so nice! Bed was very comfortable. The only complaint I had was my coffee pot was not cleaned. There was a coffee pack leftover in it from the last guest. Other than that minor thing I would 100% go back. It will definitely be my 1st choice.

Very nice hotel. We would absolutely stay again. My grandchildren thought it was the most fanciest place of their lives. We really enjoyed the pool.

The hotel was a great stay! Very clean, beds were comfortable, view of the woods. The food was great, breakfast had many options! Staff were really friendly! Will be staying again when back in Athens!

Rooms are large, comfortable and quite clean, including the bathroom featuring walk-in shower and bright vanity mirror.
Breakfast was fresh with a good selection of hot items, muffins
and fruit. The grounds and lobby are kept clean. The staff are
all friendly and accommodating to guest's requests. The location
is excellent for the University or many of the natural parks in the
surrounding area. An excellent value overall.

Really enjoyed the stay there. Quiet, comfortable, clean, convenient are a few good ways to describe the experience. Rooms are clean & well appointed. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast has good selection and is tasty. It's location is convenient. It's also reasonably priced. No down side to this hotel.

The room was very comfortable with everything you needed. Pool was fabulous. Everyone was gracious and helpful. One problem was the water would cut out completely and come back on, on our third day. This may be do to sold out, but a little inconvenience. Location is great for going anywhere. Would definitely stay again, even though a little pricey for homecoming.

Great place. Was the top of the price list, but it's worth it, i think. Fresh and clean. Quiet, well-appointed room. Very comfortable and a great night's sleep after riding all day. Conveniently located but far enough off the road to be quiet. 10 min drive to town. Quick check in. Attendant was very friendly. They are set up for motorcycle and "Windy 9" tourists along with the college fare. They even have maps and motorcycle towels right in the foyer for use. Awesome!!. Free breakfast...eggs bacon and waffles. Good enough. I think powdered eggs so they lose a few points for that.

Great experience staying here. From the ease of check-in with a very friendly staff member to the snacks/water provided at check-in, to the nice, clean rooms in a quiet hotel and fantastic breakfast options. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!

Beautiful hotel that felt new. Definitely a nicer Fairfield of all that I've tried, with extra clean rooms and a bright lobby. Breakfast was impressive with eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, breads, cereals, pastries, oatmeal with a toppings bar, yogurt, juices, and coffee in two different strengths.

Everyone working here was incredibly friendly as well.

Parking was tight at night, and I recommend they patch the hole in the gate that encloses their dumpster, but no complaints at all about the hotel. Would stay again.

Easily accessible from the highway. Ashley is excellent and she truly helps to make your stay a better choice than anywhere else in Athens.
Rooms are new, clean, and comfortable, but the sheets need to be changed for every customer.

Stayed here for one night on our way back to Michigan from South Carolina. We were able to reserve a King Executive room for the same price as a regular room. The room was spacious, clean and appeared to be recently remodeled.

Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if looking for lodging in the area.

This little select hotel was a nice surprise. The staff was warm, welcoming, attentive and efficient. Every request was handled graciously. I would stay against and recommend to anyone visiting the Athens area. Top notch.

Rooms (2) are great. Staff very courteous. Bent over backwards to help us. My mother died and they found us a second room for my sister the night of the funeral so she didn't have to drive back to Columbus late at night. Only complaint is assisiility in and out of parking lot.

Very clean, nice breakfast, very friendly staff, and very reasonably priced! We were very pleased with our stay, even with a 3 month old! The beds are very comfortable and my hair actually feels amazing after using the provided shampoo and conditioner, which is rare for me in a hotel! And we loved having a later checkout than most hotels we have stayed in!

Clean comfortable rooms. Delicious hot breakfast bar. Served early enough for us construction workers to eat before we went to job site.
