Baymont by Wyndham Athens

I had a great 2 night stay! The staff and nice and quick. The rooms were clean with a fridge and microwave. The beds were also very comfortable! The breakfast was free and just what I needed to start the say (eggs, cereal and more). After I left, I was driving home and realized I left my phone charger in the room. I called the hotel and the worker went to go look for it, found it and said he would ship it to me. I received my phone charger about two days later! What great customer service!!!!

Hands down one of the nicest hotels I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, and an incredibly pleasant and attentive staff. There was an indoor pool and a hot tub as well! Considering it snowed while I was there, that was a welcome feature. Very quiet, and plenty of parking. A resounding 10/10, would stay again!

This hotel isn't bad for the price we paid. It has a nice pool area and the room was clean. My only complaint which is minor was the hot tub. They had just cleaned it so the smell of chlorine was so harsh we couldnt turn the jets on without burning our eyes. The lady that checked us in was so sweet and very helpful. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Very friendly staff, clean facility. Late check-out is awesome. Breakfast as good as any other chain hotel. Great rates. Very safe location, right off of the highway. Also very close to great small town downtown area on Court Street, many shops, pizza joints, and restaurants near by. Overall, I've been very happy with my stays here.

The hotel was very clean.and staff was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and my kids loved the pool and hot tub. The free continental breakfast was delicious with hot waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage plus yogurt and cereals. Would definitely stay here again.

We are touring musicians so when we get to stay in a hotel, it is a Holiday! Thank you Baymont Inn in Athens, OH. This is the first day of Ohio Brew Week and all hotels were sold out, I was so thankful to be able to score such a fine room on such a busy weekend.

The front desk staff was phenomenal; check in was a breeze and we were shown exactly how to get to our rooms. It took less than 5 minutes to check in, find our rooms and flop onto the clean and comfy beds.

The room is clean and complete with a desk - flat screen TV - microwave - and minifridge. It has a window that opens slightly (my claustrophobia loves this feature), the beds are clean and comfy, as is the shower. I travel with boys so the fact that the toilet is separate from the sink is PHENOMENAL.

The pool and lobby are clean and well lit. Parking is ample and also well lit.

We never made it to breakfast but it is served until 11am - which RULES.

On top of all this the location is top notch - a walk away from any store you could need, Bob Evans in the parking lot, safe and also very quiet and cozy.

Definitely recommend this hotel to families and individuals alike.

I stayed Tuesday through Thursday because I have family in the area and love staying in hotels. I found the hotel to be very clean; check-in was easy and the person working the front desk was very welcoming and pleasent. I called the front desk a few times and they very friendly and took the time to listen. The room was clean and could tell it was a non-smoking room. It was actually nicer than I expected. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, nice sized TV with a very decent amount of channels. I personally like my pillows firm and they were too soft for my liking. The shower and faucet water pressure had a nice stream and the hot water stayed hot for the duration of my shower. My cousin and her two kids came over and enjoyed the pool with me. I loved breakfast both days. They have hot food (eggs and sausage type hot food), but I went straight for the waffle maker. I've never been to a hotel that had a waffle maker. Along with bagels, muffins and fresh fruit, it had a bigger spread than I expected. My only negative was the room was a little tight to move around. Due to a neurological illness, I walk with a cane and it took me several trips to my car. On my last trip, I went to the vending machine for a pop for the road and there was an employee watching me struggle with my last couple of belongings and offered to help me to my car. I didn't ask her name, but she had beautiful long hair, red maybe, a slight baby bump and she had a cart but wasn't a housekeeper. I was very grateful for her kind guesture. Ultimately, I enjoyed every my stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites and will definitely be back .

Nice clean room. Front desk service was great. However was under the impression they had balconies by the overview on Google and they don't have balconies. Sucks when you're a smoker and cant smoke in the room so u gotta walk outside . Other than that safe area and great hotel.

Fantastic hotel with wonderful service! This hotel has everything you need. The indoor pool is really nice, and the gym is also nice and well-equipped here, too. The front lobby has coffee and hot water at all times, and a really nice breakfast area. The breakfast here is fantastic as well! The rooms here are great, with two comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and a good amount of space to spread out. The staff is friendly and courteous all around, and there is plenty of parking as well. The hotel is conveniently located very close to downtown, so be sure to book your stay here at Baymont Inn in Athens, OH!

Stopped here on our way to Chicago while on tour. The rooms were super comfy, the beds were great, the rooms were big enough to hold us and our equipment, the parking lot was well lit and ample and Free! Hotel staff was super friendly and we talked about music too. All in all a perfect stay!

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and always around if you had questions. The room was basic but what you got was nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was surprisingly very strong.

Our client Kim Shelter is a touring musician who recently stayed here after a performance nearby and was very quick to let us know how wonderful the stay was! The staff was very welcoming at check-in and the room was perfect. There was a free breakfast in the morning, as well as a fitness center which was perfect to start the morning before hitting the road again!

Clean rooms, very comfortable. Probably the nicest hotel staff I have ever seen! When we went down to breakfast every employee said "hi" and then checked to see how we were doing.

Really loved the,stay. The beds were comfortable, quiet environment allowing sleep. All room amenities in good working condition, the room was clean and very simple. The complimentary breakfast is 6 to 10 or 6 to 11 in the weekday and weekend mornings respectively with a checkout at noon. Awesoommeee =).

Great location! We were able to access a great bike path easily. Downtown Athens was a short drive down the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Rooms were clean. Microwave, fridge and safe in room. Staff friendly. Breakfast was very good. There were waffles, Danish, muffins, bagels, eggs, and many more choices.

Our room was a large room newly renovated with a very small bathroom. Very clean. Stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron & ironing board in room. A/C worked great. Staff very kind and courteous. $$$

The room's were clean, the bed's were some of the most comfortable i've ever slept in.....the staff was the most friendly and helpful i've ever dealt with!!!...but the hot tub was too hot!!!..it burnt my skin......otherwise i would recommend them to everyone...the Continental breakfast was wonderful and plenty for everyone. .overall it was great!!!

Older hotel but nicely updated, bathroom is small but clean. No elevator but only 2 floors and has plenty of parking. Breakfast is OK, has some warm options in addition to the usual bread and cereal.

Friendly service, very clean n update room and facilities. Nice pool and hot tub. Great atmosphere. Compared to the couple hotel/ motels I've stayed at it was very quiet environment.
