Days Inn by Wyndham Athens

I got a flat tire while on a road trip at night and needed a place to stay until a tire place opened. Upon arriving the accessible room that wasn't technically occupied was reserved for the evening but the person had not yet arrived. I am in a wheelchair but was willing to deal with a regular room and try to make the bathroom work, but the man at the desk contacted the person with the reservation to see if they needed the accessible room. They apparently did not and were willing to take a regular room. They went above and beyond to help ensure my comfort.

Very clean and comfortable sheets, nice size refrigerator in the room and hardwood flooring. The person at the reception desk was quite welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised since my expectations were quite low after reading the discouraging reviews. Just a few miles away at Hawking Hills, the rooms were at triple the price so no matter how one look at it, the stay here is an exceptional bargain.

I absolutely loved the staff!!! Glenn and stephanie were a God send. Glenn overheard our money issue- we were short by ten dollars- without asking, he worked around the price to ensure us ac room! Stephanie was so lovely to talk to and any issues you may have she's immediately fixing! Glenn n stephanie both were so generous (even offering our son a bite to eat) I recommended this place to everyone. The rooms are nice and clean. They're well maintained and the "makeup sink" had a spacious countertop! I absolutely fawn over this property there's a greenery out back that adds to the view... just a lovely place to be!!!

The staff was very friendly, the room was comparable to a 3 star hotel, and a they had a decent continental breakfast available. It is tucked away, but the price, the friendly staff, and clean rooms make it worth finding it. We will stay here again!

Such a friendly manager! Our upstairs room is very clean & the beds are so comfy💜💜 Awesome flat screen tv, nice appliances. Located jus minutes from Athens, so convenient! No traffic & it's quiet✌

I stay here from time to time. The owner has done some remodeling over the last few months. The rooms are comfortable and clean. AC keeps the room at the temperature I set it at. For the price of hotels around Athens, I feel this is a good value.

I was treated very well . The cost was very affordable, everything was clean , staff was very friendly holiday weekend arrived very late and no issues everything was as advertised . Night employee that was in charge of the office had everything ready very quick check in I would definitely stay there again no problem very quite place in the perfect spot from freeway and gas station close . Just good deal good people . Thanks for the hospitality !!!

My family did not stay at the days inn; however, we did have a nice experience there. My wife is a breast feeding mother who desperately needed to use her pump while we were on the way home to Michigan from Myrtle Beach. They allowed my wife to use a room complimentary for a few minutes to pump even though I offered to rent it. The man at the front desk even declined to take my tip. They were extremely understanding and accommodating to my family. It is nice to know that there are still businesses out there that aren't looking to make a quick buck. They deserve your business.

Cozy, not too expensive, and right off the freeway. No added frills, just a clean bed, bathroom, shower, TV, and the bare essentials of a hotel.

Clean room. It was a little hard but that's okay. Adjustable shower head with decent water flow. Limited continental breakfast, but it's free. Reasonably priced snacks. Will stay at again

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were cleaned each day.Glen and Stephanie were very help and accommodating. A very nice place to stay.

No frills, etc, just a very clean room, great staff, and everything in-room one would need... flat-screen TV, coffeemaker, mini-fridge, microwave, iron. The location is convenient to most of Athens, also.

I stay here one night every week for work, and I have always had great customer service, as well as a clean room.
Also, the sun sets and sun rises are beautiful at this location.

Had late check in. The toilet seat looked like some one tried to repair with some kind of clear clue??? Breakfast area very small.
