Athens Central Hotel

My wife and I visited Athens OH for a Windy 9 motorcycle trip memorial day weekend. The Athens Central Hotel has a great location, close to the downtown restaurants. We enjoyed speaking with the staff, everyone was very friendly and the room very nice and clean. Will definitely stay here again. We were able to park our bike undercover every night which was unexpected.

Right in the heart of the hilly and cute town of Athens, lies the most amazing hotel. The BEST part of my trip was enjoying their very “on par” and needed breakfast and Matthew was so hospitable, warm and entertaining— worth the whole reason for my stay !!

My stay at Athens Central Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and efficient service. The staff, particularly Lecia Dawn, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Their kindness and helpfulness truly made a difference.

The hotel itself is impeccable - clean, stylish, and conveniently located. My room was cozy and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was delicious and provided a great start to my days exploring Athens.

Athens central hotel is a very nice place to stay! The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable! There is complimentary pop and water in the fridges. Front desk is very helpful and someone is always there 24/7. Amber at front desk is the absolute best!! I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay very much. My room was decorated very nicely. I found the bed to be comfortable with just the right amount of comforters and sheets on it. I was surprised to see that I could turn the heat up easily with a remote control. The big bathroom and shower were a great surprise as well. I forgot to bring a water bottle and found that they had supplied that in the fridge! I plan to stay there again soon.

Came down to Athens to re-live some old college memories and to do the good ol' Court Street Shuffle. We picked the Athens Central Hotel due to the proximity to Court Street and the University as a whole. It was a quick easy 5 minute walk to all of the bars and old haunts. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and rooms were nice and clean. We definitely plan on staying there for any future trips we have planned to Athens.

If you’re looking for a place to stay local to Athens this is the place. All of the workers were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were amazing. Specifically the shower and the pillows!!! I actually called in to see what brand their pillows are and they’re doing everything they can to find out for me which is amazing. We had no issues here and absolutely will be coming back.

This place was absolutely unbelievable, it is in a great location and very good to walk to the bars! The service was great not to mention the complementary drinks in the fridge. Housekeeping did an amazing job for the week I was there. There was always someone at the desk and they were very nice. I would definitely recommend as a place to stay on a bucket list.

I will definitely be staying here whenever I’m in Athens! Checking in was very easy and the staff was so helpful! Room was very clean and perfect for my stay. It is certainly my number #1 choice from now on when I visit again.

The hotel is centrally located uptown which makes it the perfect spot to check out the uptown area. There is also parking on-site which is super convenient! They offer complimentary breakfast service and the staff really goes above and beyond! This is our favorite place to stay in Athens!

Being away from my Pittsburgh home was made completely pleasant by the staff and atmosphere of this wonderful facility. Special thanks to Lisa at the front desk, such a helpful and sociable young lady! Would definitely recommend! A+

My friend and I stayed here for a girls night out. Easy walk to everything. Nice hotel- rooms were very clean, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Lecia, at the front desk. We will definitely stay here again.

My stay was phenomenal. I was dealing with a lot of mobility issues getting to and from from work and it fit perfectly. The service was over the top and lovely as I nurses my broken limb. I highly recommend various types of stats (for a prolonger work trip, seeing OU for the weekend, and just visiting). It is incredibly accessible and comfy. 11/10

Lovely hotel! Within walking distance to Court Street. When I asked Lecia at front desk about coffee places they provided me with a guide to Athens County Ohio and recommended their favorite coffee shops in town. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in athens ohio

I was touring the campus and this hotel was next to the campus, while still being quiet at night. The Hotel is close to everything and the rooms were nice and everything smelled good

The rooms are very spacious! The windows are floor to ceiling which is very cool and very modern. It has the best location in Athens, close to Court Street and OU!
