Fast service, great service, big portions, decent price..
Me and friend stops first time we've been there I got two chicken Philly steak and he got a Philly steak and we both got I got a regular lemonade and it was good..
I go back and eat again..

Excellent service and the food was Amazing! We all had breakfast since it was only 10am. I have never seen such HUGE servings! The kids meals would feed an adult! No one finished their meal, and we call that a Win! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the sausage gravy had so much flavor and the sausage links were Delicious! My son added cinnamon chips to his pancakes and we all helped him to eat those as a sweet treat to end our meals! Everything was served Hot and really quick for as busy as they were. We will definitely go back to try something other than breakfast!

Came and visited from the NorthEast and the food was delicious. I had the steak and eggs and it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the food. I just wish there was music playing in the place. When we went it was just chatter from the other guests.

While visiting my brother on campus, we stopped by and had breakfast here and we were very impressed.

There was a bit of a wait but that process was handled well with some long range pagers so you just needed to put your name down and stay relatively close to the place and you knew when you were up next.

The service and food were both good and the prices weren’t bad at all. Our waitress was professional and checked on us like 5 times during our meal. The portion sizes were really good too. I ordered an omelette and it came with hash downs AND toast. (i thought it was either or but it included both!)

If you’re in athens, make it a point to get breakfast here!

We love this place especially for Sunday breakfast . Expect a line unless OU is on break. My husband likes his eggs over medium and that's what he gets. My favorites are Eggs Benedict (although they use a thicker slice of meat) and the banana French toast (caution: frosting like cream cheese... You sure don't need syrup too!)

This dinner is classic and I love the friendly, cozy, and comfortable environment. Dine in here and tried out some crispy chicken sandwich; spinach omelette & country omelette. They are delicious! If you have to pick one thing to try here, go for the crispy chicken sandwich, the ingredients are so fresh and the bread they use for this is just delicious. The waiters are really nice and friendly. It’s like a local dinner where everyone know each other.
There are street parking and we didn’t have any trouble finding parking. Friendly people, great food for a good price, what can you ask more from it.

The staff was extremely friendly, at this quaint little diner! Our server was extremely attentive she kept our drinks filled and our food came very fresh and quickly. 12 minutes from the time we ordered to be exact.

We ordered a Philly Cheese steak sandwich that came with fresh French fries. Also, a open face roast beef with mashed potatoes brown gravy and a side salad with blue cheese.

The Philly was flavored perfectly. Just the right amount of diced peppers and onion on the tender moist beef. The bread was nice and crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. A decent sized sandwich for the price. The salad was pretty large size salad. Beautiful crisp fresh ice burg lettuce, tomato was a vibrant red homegrown taste. The croutons gave the salad an extra crisp. Even the dressing had a house made texture and flavor. The open faced Roast Beef was nice and tender bits of juicy beef. A huge scoop of mashed potatoes covered with brown gravy. The two pieces of buttery Texas toast complemented the meal beautifully. If you're looking for a real southern sweet tea that is even better than McDonald's then this is the place to purchase that!

Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out! We will be back again on our way through another time! Highly recommended!

School was out for summer break so wasn't to busy.
I would definitely stop back if we are back out that way.

It's still one of the best food spots in Athens. Service is always excellent, as is the food.

Great little diner in the heart of OU. Was down there to drop our child off at school and had heard about this place. It is a gem with great breakfast. I believe they serve other meals but we had the breakfast.

We stayed in Athens for a few days and before our trip, I had searched for some breakfast places for our stay there.

We had our first breakfast here - and since everything was perfect, we returned here for every other breakfast during our stay.
The staff is just awesome, they really make you feel at home and create a lovely atmosphere in the diner. The food was also very good and also more than reasonably priced. We spend $25-30 per day (for a breakfast + coffee + juice for two, incl. taxes and tips). Can highly recommend and I would love to have such a place nearby!!!

As an Athens local, definitely one of my favorite places ever. The service is great, the food is great, just overall a great place to get breakfast at any time.

Everything was fantastic. I had the country breakfast with scrambled eggs and French toast and a side od country gravy to put on the eggs and hash browns. Fiancé had eggs Benedict. Had so much food we needed a to-go container. Excellent food and service.

First time here and a great experience. Owner of the restaurant is active with guests! An excellent meal and a great time visiting students at OU! Definitely worth the trip!

Mt first time visit today was just wonderful. I was professionally greeted. Didn't have to wait for my server to come after being seated. Was properly introduced and when I asked about my item of choice it was expertly described. The food came out in less than 10 min, perfectly prepaird. My coffee cup never ran dry. It was clean, roomy and old cafe charm was everywhere. I give Union Street Dinner an A+ RATING for EXCELLENCE.
