Tikal I

This is the best taco place in the North Fork. Many places are overrated but this place this great. We always get it on the go or to bring home and eat. They even make their own taco shells that are light and crispy. Also, the meat is very nice chicken. We hate pulled chicken and this place cubes white meat really nice without over seasoning. Great eats guys!

Good mexican food.
Simple room. Not fancy. Service was very quick. And important: CHEAP! If you are still hungry after spending fortune eating 5 small oysters in other places, this is a restaurant for you. Big portions!

My husband and I stopped for breakfast one morning. huevos rancheros were amazing. My husband got the chorizo and mozzarella omelet, he said it was amazing as well. We will be back for dinner one night.

Tikal is the sneaky place you don't want to miss in Greenport. High quality, handmade food from this Guatemalan kitchen is amazing. The chicken soup might be the best ( don't tell Grandma!). Don't let the big empty room fool you- it's regularly packed for special events!

Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful food. Very kind service. Everything seems freshly made (even the chips) and extremely fairly priced. If i can give more than 5 stars i would.

This must have been my 10th trip to Tikal. I live in centereach and love to drive on Rt.25 all the way out to Greenport. It's a beautiful, calming drive, very scenic, you see all the vineyards and the old beautiful churches, homes and shops. Then as you get closer to Greenport you start to see the water along the North shore. Greenport is a great little town overlooking the water and you can walk around to eat and shop. Tikal is a latino restaurant and it's my favorite place to eat out of all the restaurants there. The food is so fresh and it tastes home made. They make fresh chips that come out hot and served with a delicious guacamole dip! I had the shrimp taco bowl and my daughter had the steak fajitas. Delicious every time, I've never been disappointed. I love this place! This is my 3rd review!Great prices, friendly service. Highly recommend!!

THEIR BURRITOS ARE REALLY GOOD!! Chicken burrito is on point!!! And honestly the people behind the counter. Super pleasant as well. Never dined in always taken out. You get a good amount of food for what you pay for

We ordered takeout and portions were generous and well packed. Everything was delicious. We had Sopa de Mariscos which had chunks of lobster, fish, mussels, shrimp and clams, served with a side of rice and two pupusas. Also had the Tikal Steak, which was a thin grilled steak with chorizo, rice, beans, and guacamole served with pupusas. A side of fried plátanos maduros came with crema for dipping.

WOW. Best food in Greenport hands down. We have eaten at almost every spot on front St. And this place did not disappoint. Portions were HUGE, price was very very cheap and the taste was the most authentic Mexican cuisine I've had on long Island. Im hooked on chilaquiles... only had them that good in Mexico.

This is absolutely some of the best, most authentic Latin American food on Long Island. My wife and I come here every time we visit Greenport. It truly reminds me of my abuela’s cooking!

Nice ambiance, good food decent prices, nice burritos the plantains were good as well.
