Cedar Point County Park

A walk to the old Lighthouse on a foggy December morning was quite interesting. Found a stranded Green Turtle and interesting decorations on the coastal trees and shrubs.

New review from me, as we’ve been coming here for 6-7 years now. We initially loved the place and then it kind of went down, you suddenly need to book a spot where before it was come and choose empty spot (we love to be spontaneous). Now that we have green key it all works and we love staying here again! And I noticed a note saying you can pick a spot if you don’t have reservation. Anyway - people complaining about bugs and ticks, sand and all… maybe you just shouldn’t go camping. Camping is about gettin dirty, reconnecting with nature. Love this hidden gem!

Great camp ground, nice people, beautiful beach and walk to the light house. Nice hiking trail. Staff is friendly. Try to avoid the party crowds that go on weekends if you want to sleep. But... Park rules are strictly be enforced and the neighbors abide by in the rules.

We walked for what seemed like a million miles to get to the lighthouse for some drone footage but it was worth it. I was endlessly jealous of the people driving by down the gorgeous beach in their SUVs, but it was a beautiful day and an absolutely wonderful view once we got ourselves way out there

Easily one of my most favorite parks on the east end. Incredible views great facilities. Top notch.

Beautiful park for camping, running, hiking with a nice beach. Nice facilities and close to Hamptons and Montauk!

A fantastic camping spot out in Long Island. Definitely one of our favourite. A great location to get to nearby towns. I would recommend bringing bug spray or some candles to keep the mosquitos away.

This was my 1st time at this campsite. It's a lovely camp site with many sites available. It has some gorgeous shores and the people really made a big difference. Mary Beth, Andreas, and Mike made this place so warm, wonderful and welcoming that we will be back to this camp site before going elsewhere.

We love this place. It's our first choice always soon as we (me and a whole bunch of our friends AND FAMILIES) talk about "camping". The sites are nice. The whole campground is big, lots of places to set up camp. The beach is also really beautiful. We can't wait to camp again. Hopefully this weekend since kids are off from school.

One of the most beautiful places in the northern part of East Hampton. Take a trail (3.5 miles round trip) around Cedar Point Lighthouse.

The Camp Store will open soon this summer 2021 and the wood fire pizza oven by this fall. Glamping will open spring of 2022. At the camp store we'll have groceries, apparel, camp items, scoop ice cream and breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items. We'll have camp fires, cornhole, movie nights, live music and so much more as we build the business. Before we took over the camp store, we would camp at Cedar Point County Park campground and take the kids surfing in Montauk.

Great, quiet place for any type of camping. You have beach access, sand pits for volley ball and plenty of short trails to travel. Staff is pleasant to!

First time going and it was great! Nice walk on the beach to the lighthouse. Lots of shells. Great place for a family "hike".
Take bug spray just in case - the mosquitoes were unreal! A warzone! On the beach there were none, thanks to the breeze, but inside the park was just terrible.
We definitely plan to return - my kids loved it!

I've been going here since I was a baby, i love it! It's great for any age. Just for reference, I'm 35 and have loved this place at every age. Its great for little ones, I loved it as a teenager, and I love still it. I come here with 20+ members of my family every summer and we have such a great time.
If you love the beach but prefer to camp in a wooded area that has trees and some privacy this is the place. The other beach camping sites have that "city camping" where your all on top of each other with not a tree in sight.
There is a lot of beach area, but there is one specific area that has a little "pool" and the kids (and adults) love to do jumps into the water.
You can take a long but fun walk (unless you have a vehicle to drive on the beach with) to the lighthouse.
There is a little store that has been run by the same great family since I've been going there. They have anything you need and make awesome egg sandwiches, if you don't feel like cooking at your site. They also do an outdoor movie night for the kids.
I could go on and on. Love this place!

Went camping for the second time at this park.

The employees were all very nice. The camping grounds were very nice. The restrooms are clean for a camping site. There was a nice easy walk to the bay, a nice park for the kids and nice trails for riding a bike and walking.

If your looking for a nice little getaway or just a day for relaxation this is a go to place.

Love this place, even though I am a visitor and not a Suffolk resident. You'll get charged quite a bit compared to a county resident. No matter, my kids love it and I really enjoy the tranquility of this place. Yes, I do run into the unavoidable KAREN but if you disregard those and focus on your campfire, fishing, swimming, hike trail, nature and anything else you like, then you'll be happy with the place. The people who work there are great, just follow the rules. The office people may treat you like a stranger but that'll just happen when you are not in the system.

We were there with whole family 👪. Everyone was happy. Amazing place to have relaxing. We were on the middle of October. The weather was perfect 🥰. Water was so quiet. Very recommended that place

Great park, beautiful sight seeing and the lake was wonderful. Many stores and activities there and my kids love it!
