Greenport Gem!! Great place! We Definitely will be back! Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was AMAZING, very personable and always pleasant. John’s recommendations for lunch and dinner were awesome! Location is perfect, a short walk to restaurants, shops and waterfront. We were very lucky to get 3 beautiful sunny days in April so we were able to enjoy the immaculate property. Although we didn’t use the pool or hot tub they were very clean and ready for guests.

It all starts with the welcoming of all that run the hotel each and everyone go above and beyond for all your needs, felt like I was home the place is placed perfectly by everything, all walking distance the beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are situated nicely the only thing it does have a refrigerator in the room wish it had a microwave but there bistro / bar is fantastic Alex is the bartender and can make any drink you want very knowledgeable on his craft our overall experience is a 12 and I forgot to mention the fire pit they have at night right next to the beautiful pool and hot tub!!! We had a great stay at the Greenporter. This hotel is centrally located close to town and restaurants. The on-site bar was terrific as was all staff we interacted with. It's a very good value for what you get. Didn't get in the pool, but as a pool owner myself, I can appreciate how clean it was. Wil definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and good location. Overall great experience. We were upgraded upon check in as well, as we had a stressful experience with an Airbnb reservation that we had to cancel earlier that same day. Would recommend.

Super cute retro motel vibes. Everything was great from check in to check out. Shout out to Chelso who was incredibly accommodating to our needs. Great coffee lounge in the morning. Will definitely be back.

We loved this hotel! Much more reasonably priced than other hotels in Greenport. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops in town. Immaculate room , nice pool and hot tub and we really like the little restaurant/café on site to grab a drink or a coffee. Planning to come back with my husband in a few months!

We made a last-minute decision to book a room at the Green Porter Hotel and were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. The hotel's location was very convenient for walking and visiting shops, breakfast places, and restaurants, and it also offered a view of the Mariners.

Great location that's within walking distance of the main strip. While the rooms are currently a little dated, they're very clean. Would stay again.

The staff here go above and beyond to cater to their guests. The staff makes you feel like family and it’s a special place. The rooms are spacious and well thought out and very conveniently located. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Great room and it had the cool vibe that the whole place had. Smooth Jazz was playing when I walked in. Location was great! Close to bay, restaurants and shops. Will stay here again!

The staff was very helpful and some of the friendly people I have met in quite some time. Rocia at the front desk was the most pleasant, helpful and cheerful person that I have seen in a very long time very welcoming very knowledgeable. Very helpful. I will definitely be back every chance I get.

I really enjoyed my stay. I booked a one-night exploratory stay so that I could perform some east-end Long Island business the next day, but also research this place for a possible future stay with my spouse and friends. I booked a Deluxe Double and was "upgraded" to a Deluxe King. As an Architect, I notice some things that others might not, and in this case perhaps a Lawyer would notice too: A bathmat and a tub grab bar. These are not just nice touches but safety items, and I applaud the guest consideration. Plenty of outlets and light switches with good lighting fixtures and light levels. I see also that this hotel will close for the winter months starting 15 December , and will re-open in Spring 2024 (mid-March), so this might be one of the last reviews before then. The only minor detail is that my receipt didn't match the amount charged, but it worked out in the end as I'm a whiz at PDF editing ;-) I plan to return and stay longer, and take advantage of some of the offered amenities, like bikes and pool.

Very nice, no frills hotel with flare...and the location cannot be beat! Definitely try the on-site restaurant...very good cocktails and very friendly staff...fun time in Greenport for sure!

We just reserved the entire property for our wedding weekend and had an amazing time. The staff were great, the rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. The new management has really made it a great hotel. We look forward to coming back for years to come!

We had a great stay at the Greenporter hotel. Two guys working at the front desk Eddie and Philip were so nice and helpful they recommended some great places in town, and made our stay feel like home. The room was amazing, everything was near the hotel within walking distance. We really had a nice time and we will definitely come back again!

We have been coming here for the past 6 years, sometimes winter, sometimes summer, sometimes both! It’s not fussy, yet super calming. We are back again after a 2 year break and everyone was as warm and friendly as usual; rooms are very clean, peaceful pool area, easy walk to town - never need our car once we park! Breakfast is very lovely nibbles, fruit, yogurt, breads and Sunday offered mini frittatas. My only tiny little find, the grounds, and gardening are not as trimmed and lush and was concerned there might be changes ahead. Hope not - it’s a little treasure.

Thank you Deborah for your hospitality and a wonderfully consistent experience at the Greenporter. We visit in the summer and the winter every year to relax and enjoy the offerings of the north fork of Long Island. Retro feel, terrific breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating options near the pool. Friendly staff, friendly town, and now a business conference space offered. Our summer stay just ended. See you in the winter once again!

We had the nicest time: the room was perfect (for a young family of 4); your location is great (especially as we didn’t have a car); the breakfast was great to start us off and the swimming pool kept the kids occupied the entire trip!

The staff was great (led by Warner) - who made our stay very comfortable.

Stays like these make us wonder, why don’t we do this more often? In any case - we know where we are staying on our next trip to Greenport!
