My German Shepherd is terrified of baths and I dealt with a nightmare of a groomer before coming to Petco. So I was pleasantly surprised to get him back not only smelling clean and looking handsome, but happy too! Julie did a great job with my boy and I will be taking him here again.

Took my very nervous dog for a nail trim (a Mini Make-rover). Jason C. was a wonderful groomer. Very thorough, and very gentle & friendly with her. Thank you Jason!

The best place to shop for your pets the staff is amazing. Super knowledgeable and friendly Janet is the best!!!

Clean, organized store with friendly, knowledgeable staff. My dog loves taking trips here and picking out a treat to take home.

A sales person talked at length with me about my dog's diet. She was wonderful. Showed me different products.

I was looking for Nutro Turkey cuts can food and the associate there told me to order it and it would be shipped to me in 2 days. Next time I know to just order and have shipped.

Highly recommend taking puppy training classes with Mike. He is so knowledgeable and patient, and he goes above and beyond. Our puppy Gio is so much more manageable now that we have the tools and training Mike taught.

A great one stop shop for all your pet needs

I brought a $120 in gift cards for Christmas dec 2021, but for some reason none of them got loaded. You can imagine that I was embarrassed, so I went back to the Ramsey store and had the best experience with Maria, the manager. She was absolutely amazing! She stayed on the phone with cooperate for an hour and had the problem resolved. She really went to bat for me and I really appreciated all her help! …. On New Year’s Eve no less! I will definitely continue to use this store! Thanks again María! :)

I went to Vetco inside and it was initially hard to find. No signs and when you have a pet with you, it is frustrating. Once I found it, nice and friendly staff.

Great pet shop and helpful staff. We had the good fortune of having Maria and Kelly help us with our selection of fish. Maria is very knowledgeable and assisted us with choosing the right fish for our tank. Thank you for all of your assistance and guidance.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST. I walked in today and spoke with manager Maria about a dilemma I was having. Online ordering from companies during this pandemic is honestly the best and worst thing for consumers. Maria greeted me with a smile and immediately told me she would take care of me and my new fish tank setup. The issue was that a promotion. and coupons and a error in the online inventory was preventing me from purchasing my new fish tank setup. There was a coupon for in store pickup. A promotion for applying for the petco credit card. Lastly I had rewards. After several failed attempts trying to purchase the items online, and getting nowhere to outsourced customer service hotline, I decided to go to the store.
I presented manager Maria with the shopping cart and discounts the petco website had shown. She listened to my issues and even showed legitimate concern for my problem. Maria took the time and care to not only get me the items I needed, but she then ended up helping me with my new setup, by recommending items I would need to complete my setup. Maria was able to get me everything I needed and more. It was great to know I was in good hands of another aquarium hobbyist who also is really big into the hobby.

So I left the store with a brand new aquarium and all the accessories that I needed. I got everything at the sale prices that were online. Customer service like this is what I expect from every petco location. To meet a manager who knows other pets besides dogs is a must. I will definitely be returning for all my aquarium needs.

PROS: This Petco is one of the largest I've been to. Located in a nice shopping plaza it has tons of parking no matter when you arrive. When I came in I was greeted by a employee named Kim and she helped me out every step of the way getting Dog toys and treats. They are certainly lucky to have her! The inventory is stacked while the variety of merchandise is plenty.

CONS: It's right off the highway which makes it a little challenging to find it right away. You can easily miss it. I won't let it effect the star rating but it is a concern

OVERALL: Definitely a place I will go back to when I'm in the market for more dog supplies. If Kim is working I suggest asking for her, however, everyone who works there seems nice and you'll be taken care of

Kudos to Janet at the Ramsey, NJ store. Janet was more than helpful, she went above and beyond to help us with the dog food selection. She was so knowledgeable about the different varieties of dog food. Janet should be commended on how she treats customers! She offered help just like the way customer service use to be in businesses. Janet is truly an asset to Petco. Thank you Janet!

Stephanie at Petco in Ramsey is the absolute best groomer! Shhh don’t tell anyone! She’s amazing with my cavalier King Charles.
