Lakeland Family Dental

Doctor Wong is one of the greatest dentists I have ever visited in the last 30 years. His staff and him are extremely professional and create a very relaxing atmosphere. I have never had a dental office pay such close attention to my comfort levels during a procedure. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone and everyone. Some of these other negative reviews seem fabricated after my experience.

My family has been coming here for some time. It's just recently I personally have been here a little more due to a needed crown, then off to another place for a root canal, then back to Lakeland to finish the work.
I used to love having my teeth cleaned and worked on, over the years not so much.
With that said Jonathan is super friendly and very patient with me, explaines everything well and makes sure I'm comfortable with what needs to be done prior, during and after.
When I get my 6 month cleanings I ask for some numbing gel around my gum lines on the most sensitive teeth and they happily provide it, making my cleanings less undesirable.
Friendly staff, clean environment.

I’ve been with these guys for a long time since I was young. Dr. Wong, His son and his staff are the embodiment of what I call professionalism, hospitality and expertise.. I recently just got some outstanding work done by them and it has changed my life for the better in ways that I don’t think anything else could repay in this world. I was at a point of not being able to smile, laugh or even do the simplest things of taking family photos without being self-conscious to a point where it was affecting my life and my families. What they have done for me I will never be able to repay the way I would like to. What I got was world-class treatment and care and I wouldn’t recommend anybody else that I know of ever in my lifetime other than Dr. Wong his son and his staff.

Best dentist I've ever seen! The hygienist does a fantastic job and Dr Wong is very gentle and really cares about his patients. I always recommend this office to my friends and family.

We were patients for years, decades actually. The only reason we left was a move out of state. During all this time we had one hygienist that was subpar and we did not see her again. I think she was a fill in. Dr Wong and staff and are excellent! We will miss them!

I’ve been coming to this dentist for many years and highly recommend them. Jonathan fixed a very difficult cavity with extreme patience and saved my tooth . It takes a special person to spend the time he did to fix it the right way . Very satisfied and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Awesome dental practice, I would not go anywhere else! From my regular 6 month appointments, to having some cosmetic work done, Dr. Wong is the BEST!

I had my first appointment at Lakeland Family Dental and I was happy with my service. Dr. Nathan Wong was amazing!

!CAUTION!
Deceptive scheduling and billing practices!!! This office incorrectly scheduled my appointment by 1 day early causing insurance claim denial and forcing me to be stuck with the bill because of their own scheduling mistake. Then the front desk claims it’s my responsibility to pay the bill even though it was their scheduling error. The office staff literally said they don’t know how their patients insurance works! (Well maybe it’s time you figure it out, you work at a dentists office after all LOL). After some discussion I received a $20 discount. I’m still not happy about this and will let my friends and family know so they don’t have to deal with this.

A dental office should be able to schedule appointments correctly so they are covered by their patient’s insurance. Overall friendly staff but lacking competence and awareness.

The dentist and hygienist are always friendly and attentive. Would be nice to staff the front desk with more competent folks, however.

Was my dentist for about 8 years, went every 6 months, and never thought the cleanings were great. Not the care I was used to. I switched dentists and I was correct that Lakeland Family Dental did not do a good job. Without going into detail, the cleanings were not done thoroughly and the even the dentist missed when he did the follow up check. The new dental hygienist really cleaned my teeth and even asked if I had been to a dentist in the last few years. I had mailed in the appropriate request for Lakeland to transfer my dental records, but they never did. Glad I decided to switch and leave this place.

One of the dentists here suggested that I get a root canal in a healthy tooth that had simply gotten dark from being hit. I totally trusted her that it would again be a beautiful tooth. I have since learned that I now have zero options of a beautiful smile, and will have to wear a crown. This was not good advice. They should be ashamed.

After 17 years as a patient, post-Covid was contacted by Lakeland and rescheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I showed up with my son and was told they had unilaterally canceled my rescheduled appointment.

I'm no longer a customer.
