The BIG BEEF with SWEET PEPPERS was outstanding. The sandwich was perfectly dipped and the flavor was phenomenal. The STRAWBERRY CAKE SHAKE WAS KILLER….INCREDIBLE.

The house salad dressing is creamy italian with small pasta pieces salted in….perfect size for lunch.

Portillos is a superb lunch spot.

Great place to sit down and have a quick nice quality meal - see pictures and videos - staff was friendly and quality of food was excellent - would recommend for families plenty of places to sit and enjoy.

Not even sure a comment is needed! Chicago dog and Italian Beef were great! Phenomenal food as always. Definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been. Food is great, a really fun atmosphere.

Portillo's Woodbury is the place to go for fast food. That won't break the bank, You get what you pay for, is the best bang for your buck of any fast food restaurant i've ever been to. They have sit down restaurant quality burgers, malts fry's, and first timers, You get a free piece of cake and it's good cake.

There isn’t a Portillo’s where I live so anytime I get the chance to go to one I make it happen! Always at least order the Italian beef and the Chicago dog. I’ve been to many locations and this one isn’t any different. Always clean, nice staff and the food is great. Can’t go wrong with some Portillo’s

This is one of my all time favorite spots. Every-time I'm in Il or MN, I go at least once.

The Italian Beef... oh my goodness, it's a game-changer! Seriously, if you've never had one of these Chicago favorites, you are missing out! Also, a TRUE Chicago Dog can be found here. Finding a good one outside of Chicago is like finding a needle in a haystack, but Portillo's totally nails it!

The chicken sandwich is possibly the best I've EVER had. Tender, juicy, and bursting with deliciousness. And the cheese fries are my second favorite ever! (Second only to the ones at The Freeze in Crystal Lake, IL).

Now, my ultimate guilty pleasure is their vanilla malt with extra malt. I swear, it's like drinking a cup of nostalgia. It takes me back to the good ol' days, and I just can't resist indulging in one whenever I'm there.

But here's the real struggle - why on earth isn't there a Portillo's in Colorado? Come on, I need my fix, and I need it closer to home! What's a girl gotta do to get some Portillo's love out here?!?!

Bottom line, if you ever get the chance to visit a Portillo's, do yourself a favor and GO! You won't regret it. It's so good, and I'll keep crossing my fingers for that Colorado location. Until then, I'll just keep daydreaming about those mouthwatering eats! 🌭🍟🍦

Finally got the chance to eat here, it was definitely worth the wait. Service was great. This was my first time eating here and the cashier was helpful in making my first experience a great one. Loved the decor and atmosphere.

We walked through the door not quite knowing where to go, but within a moment a friendly person directed us to the counter. A smile greeted us and our order was made. The atmosphere felt like old school Chicago and the chicago dog was delicious. Can't wait to try their other food next time.

Great Experience!!! Came in and got $44 worth of food… A big beef, polish, 6 chicken tenders and 2 large cheese fries… Forgot to give me my peppers and gave my dad a free cake since it was his first time coming… I LITERALLY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! Chocolate cake was delicious and I don’t even like chocolate… I usually get the Strawberry Shortcake… Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu though and the manger gave me the best customer service ever… her name ended with an I… I think Jenni, lol sorry if I’m wrong but she’s amazing and deserves a raise!!!

Originally from the Chicago area, I also had a gig delivering business, and over 4 years delivered more than 800 Portillos meals with NOT ONE wrong meal or dissatisfied customer.

If you want top quality eats and service don't settle, go to Portillos. We drive weekly for the hot dogs and Greek salad.

This was our first experience eating here. Good sized portions. Good food. Fries may have been a touch over salted but still good.

Has the word "Hot Dogs" in the name but the menu is very expansive besides hot dogs.
You'll never leave hungry.
Good to run in for a quick bit or a large group dinner!
Always a place to bring guests when they are in from out of town.

I've always gone to this location ever since I was a kid and I swear it's the best one. The service is always great (and shoutout to this guy with blonde hair who's at the register, hes very nice) but the food is wonderful too. I've never had any issues at this location and I probably never will. Thank you!!🥹

1st time to eat there ... was good and extremely messy. I just wanna say that the lady at the register who was singing while we were standing there ... thank you your singing just made my day better

Definitely lived up to the hype! This place is always busy and for good reason.

The exterior is very cool and bigger than I expected. Inside the restaurant are floor to ceiling pictures, decor, and signage. The line moves pretty quick, but it's still ideal to go at an off time.

The hot dogs are top notch, all beef, and juicy. The Italian Beef Sandwich with hot peppers and mozzarella is amazing, and ordering it "dipped" makes it a delicious mess (you need to be sitting for that one). I also got the fries with cheese sauce, which did not disappoint. They were crinkle cut with the right amount of crisp.

I haven't tried much but the hotdog was great. If you order a Cake Shake you must get a large to get the full experience. 100% worth it.

My weener didn't come in a boat, it was just wrapped in paper. A boat would have been best considering all the toppings.

I've only been to Portillo's a couple of times, I don't live near them. Today, I ordered a cheese burger. This sloppy burger was dripping juices all over. I needed a handful of paper towels to keep my hand and face looking presentable. I'll be honest, I loved it! This beast burger was loaded with flavor and I could barely finish it because it was so filling. Looks like a lot of other fun things to try on the menu. The atmosphere gets an A+. It's a very unique theme that pays attention to detail more than the competition. Keep making those sloppy burgers Portello's!

Food was great as always, beef with extra gravy and cheddar cheese added.
Service was slow and time from order to pick up was slow as well. But with how busy the DT was and how steady they were inside I get it as a QSR mgr myself.

Visited several times in Chicago area. So happy to have a Portillo’s closer to home. Italian beef, hotdogs and shakes. Cake shakes are to die for and will probably what literally kills me. Great food and great atmosphere. Definitely on the pricey side, but worth it when you’re looking to treat yourself every once in a while.

Portillo's is definitely worth experiencing the food is absolutely wonderful hamburgers hot dogs chili dogs fall off the bone ribs so tender they melt in your mouth as definitely worth experiencing I recommend Portillo's to everyone . And don't forget to try their famous chocolate cake it's so moist and chocolatey you'll want to bring home a whole one which they have several already made fresh daily cheesecake strawberry cheesecake chocolate eclair cakes absolutely delicious. Bring the whole family you'll have a ball.
