Primo Pizza

First time trying Primo. Owner was super nice. The buffalo pizza needed more buffalo sauce. It tasted like a cheese pizza with chicken. But highly recommend the hamburger pizza. That was fabulous!

Absolutely amazing. I came in for a pick up order and he hadn’t started it, which I was fine with. Without me prompting, the pizza guy offered me a free bread side because of the wait.

Way more importantly, you can actually taste the tomatoes, unlike chain stores. This was my introduction to the effect of ultra processed food. My boyfriend and I can each eat a whole dominos pizza and still be hungry. Here, we each had two slices and we were full, which is unheard of.

Dominos, Papa John’s, and other chain stores all have ultra processed food, which is for lack of a better word predigested. Here, the ingredients were real, and my god did it make a difference. It helps that the service was amazing :) I highly recommend this store!

Hands down our new favorite pizza restaurant. Amazing pizza, and the bread sticks are so good! Friendly staff and very great service. Great work!

The sauce on the pizza is Top NOTCH!!! Ordered 70 wings and they Came out Perfect, & the Sauces were all tasty. Definitely a Hometown Pizza Joint!

After our last bad experience, a Primo Pizza manager called , gave us a free pizza & apologized for the poor service & food. We have since ordered from them a few times and everything has been great!
So, my review is changed from a 1 star to 5 stars. Thank you Primo Pizza.

Primo Pizza has been our go to pizza delivery for many years & has been great! We have ordered it to our cabin & home.

We tried ordering to a friend's cabin last night online & it wouldn't recognize the address, then tried another neighbor's cabin address & again wouldn't let us order and they are closer to Monticello than our cabin. I called the store & the guy wouldn't take the order over the phone because they were busy. He said to order on the app & spent 5 minutes exposing the app! So frustrating. Finally, we ordered on the app & had it delivered to our house.

It said 40 minutes. After 70 minutes, I called. The pizza was done, but there was no delivery person there. Finally, they delivered them after 1 hr & 45 minutes & one pizza was burnt! So disappointing & frustrating!

The delivery gal was very friendly though. Thank you to her. Please train your phone answerers to be more friendly, courteous & polite.

Just ordered a large 3 topping pizza with extra sauce. The cinnamon twists are pretty amazing too! Baby approved! Mmmmm so incredible! My favorite pizza in Monticello for sure! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Our favorite take out pizza! Sauce is flavorful but not overly salty or sweet. They always have lots of deals and even have rewards.

The pizza was good! Not life changing but overall tasty. The girl working (long hair and glasses) even brought it out to me when I pulled up for pick-up, she was so friendly and very kind! Definitely will be going back at some point.

Amazing pizza and service. Stopped in middle of afternoon on. Sunday and bought a large pizza for $10. My son and I devoured it and we both thought it was the best pizza around. Previous reviews commenting on the pizza not up to standards as in the past is clearly because like other businesses Primo has a hard time finding dedicated staff and the customers likely ordered during peak times. For best results order before 5pm or after 8pm.

Fantastic pizza! Get the Ruben with jalapenos and Hawaiian with sauerkraut and jalapenos! Both bomb! Girl on phone was super nice even tho working alone while super busy. Delivery driver was also great. They even left us a note welcoming us to the area! Highly recommend!

Best Pizza around! My family's favorite. Primo has excellent specialty pizzas, so please give these a try! The combinations are incredibly delicious. Pictured is the Mac Pizza(yes, it tastes like a big mac but better). It also comes with a side of shredded lettuce that you can add to the topping. Our usual order includes the Reuben pizza. Fab! I always add jalapenos to half the pizza. They are spicy, so beware.

The dessert bites are really good as well. Add that to your order, too! It's worth it!!

Excellent pizza! Even though it was very busy and the phone was always ringing, time was still made for my granddaughter and I to get our pizza. Was about as perfect as I could have ever hoped for and very fast. Will definitely be going there again and recommending to others.

Wow! The staff was incredibly friendly and inviting! I normally am not a fan of thin crust but my husband is so we ordered one and it's the best thin crust I've ever had it was thin and firm without being soggy or tasting like cardboard it had flavor and great texture we also ordered a pan crust and that too was great, classic crust was classic it was ok but the thin and pan crust were both amazing 👏

Lovely place, I came in not knowing what to order and it was during prep for a rush, I got to talk to the owner because it's understaffed and even during something busy going on I still got to know what it's like to be there. The pizza I received was one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life, and it's disheartening to see that at 4:30 pm that the tip jar was empty. I wish I could've done more to help and I want to make an effort to spread the word, because this place deserves love, the owner I talked to has fire in his eyes, and he's doing good best. I hope nothing but the best for Primo Pizza.

I was in the mood for pizza and my Aunt and Uncle said this place was the closest to their house and also the best pizza they'd had in a while. I ordered to-go. Crust was better than I expected and so were the toppings. Yum! Quick service and the price was good too. I will be back. The pizza was indeed PRIMO!

Friday dinner time. Ordered online and pizza wasn't ready until 45 minutes after it said it would be ready. However, there were only two employees working and they were supremely hustling. I mean, really hustling. I'm an ER nurse so I completely understand being short staffed. Great job guys!!

Primo Pizza in Monticello is the best pizza our town has to offer. My husband loves the Supreme thin crust with spicy sausage instead of the regular Italian and he asks for it well done. My kids and I love the pepperoni pizza thin crust also well done. It's ALWAYS delicious. Their staff is ALWAYS friendly and kind. We have never had an issue here and we absolutely love eating here about once a week.

Best pizza in the area hands down! Always primo! Friendly service and fast delivery! Pizza and sides need to cool down before eating. Always the best and a staple of the community!

I am a picky pizza enthusiast and Primos is easily one of the top pizza places in MN, let alone in this area. Delivery always comes earlier than predicted and the coupons are actually useful, unlike those offered by corporate pizza places.

Highly recommended by me.
