Best Western Plus Chelsea Hotel

My husband and I stayed here on a business trip. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. We blew a tire on our trailer as we pulled on the street and the hotel gave us a late check out so we could wait in the room while the repairs were being made - so much better than the waiting room at the tire shop! I would definitely stay here again.

The outside grounds, lobby, breakfast area, and my room were clean. quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, and all of the plumbing worked.
The complementary breakfast was very good as well. I plan to stay here again the next time I am in the area.

Stayed here while passing through town. Clean bathroom. clean linens. Pet friendly for a small fee. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Continental breakfast isn't anything to write home about, just grab a coffee elsewhere on your way out.

I had a terrific stay here recently (4 nights) in a King Room. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. They will provide daily room cleaning service if requested and this was appreciated.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the location is great with plenty of parking.

Free newspaper offered in the morning. Free breakfast with some different options each day.

Note that someone serves you the breakfast. I initially found this a little off-putting, having not seen something like this recently; however, the lady that runs it is very nice and I always did get what I wanted for breakfast and plenty. I was happy with the breakfast options. They did offer biscuits and gravy daily it seemed. Then either eggs, an omelette, sausage, or other meat. Cereal options. Orange and Apple juice. Bananas.

They had a 24x7 fancy coffee machine near the front desk area that could make a variety of coffee, including hot chocolate.

The pool and hot tub area was great and the pool was comfortably warm along with plenty of towels out and available. Note that the hot tub was broken the first night and fixed by the the second. If this is important to you call ahead to check availability.

There was an exercise room with nice equipment.

Pleasant stay for a couple of days. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel is clean including hallways (no weird smells). Hot and/or cold breakfast. Menu changes daily. Would stay again!

A little expensive compared to the other listed places around it but it was also a little higher end and I would guess worth it. Was pulling a trailer and staff was ok with me parking on the side even though I took up 5 spaces. So I would recommend it.

Clean room, well maintained building, and nice staff. It is conveniently located right off I-94. I was happy to see that the pictures online were like the actual rooms and not just corporate photos. The bed was very comfy. I travel with my dog and for a small charge they allow dogs which was awesome. It was very peaceful and they had a green area to walk your dog.

The food was so good and the pool was the right temperature unlike other hotels. The beds where so comfy and you can bring your pets too but you need to check with the front desk first. I just wish there was one by my house so i can just live here its so good.

As someone who relies heavily on other people's reviews when traveling to somewhere new, I feel obliged to say we just stayed here last night and it was amazing! Doesn't disappoint! CLEAN, which means the world to our family! Smelled fresh, the ombionce is welcoming. Beds and pillows comfy. Clean smelling sheets, crisp, fresh, the room was great. Our flight was delayed and after a Long day of travel we got to MN around 3 am. Pleasantly surprised when we arrived here at how nice the man behind the counter was ( didn't catch his name) but he was so helpful. I literally was reading google reviews about this place in the airport debating on if we should stay and glad we did! Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast in the morning was good for the kids. Breakfast is over by 830 am which seems a bit early but other than that everything about this place was an A plus. Which is nice when you are tired and away from home. Thank you to the people who run this place for make such a memorable experience!

Edit (8/3/23): Once again I’m raving about BW Monticello. The gentleman man at the front desk (seems to work evenings) is an thoughtful, kind and accommodating. I will get his name next time. We stay there every 6 to 8 weeks. It is always clean, homey and inviting. The only thing that could make the stays better would be an ice machine on the 2/3 floors.

I forgot a script and they packaged it and sent it to me. I gave them my FEDEX #.

We had two two-night stays, with our dog. We chose the hotel for the pet policy and came back because the first stay was great!
The room and amenities were excellent, the breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptional. Our room was handy to an exterior door so we could walk our German Shepherd easily.
It was wonderful to have the little fridge and microwave in the room.

Fitness room was nice. The breakfast service was amazing. Totally recommend.

Great stop! The beds were comfortable, the pool was nice and appeared clean. The breakfast was very good, filling and served with the sweetest smile. The staff was very nice And accommodating. It was an affordable stop on a long road trip.

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, everything well maintained in the room, nice decor. Hot tub was clean and clear. Feels like a 3 star property. The only thing that would be nice is if the 6am-8am breakfast was extended to like 9am.

Everyone had a smile on their face and were very welcoming! Our room was perfect, clean and comfortable! Breakfast was great and hot! We loved our stay and we're sure you will too!!

Very friendly staff! Great breakfast choices even though limited due to COVID 19 restrictions. The hotel is quiet and very clean as well as has a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. All for a great price. Beds are very comfortable.

From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff were absolutely delightful. The rooms were very well maintained. We will definitely be staying there again!!

My husband, 2 daughters (7&2), and I had a really nice stay. We had a lot of fun swimming, ended up having the pool to ourselves. :) The breakfast was delicious. There were a couple different things the second day, and they have a pancake maker (make 2 pancakes with a touch of a button!) with 4 choices of syrup. Lots of toppings for oatmeal. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great water pressure and heat, many lights with separate switches to give as much or as little light as desired. Only weird thing was that it seemed the floor was a little uneven in the entry way near the bathroom door and closet. Only complaint is the walls are either thin, not insulated well, and/or the neighbor was a very loud talker (kept me up and I hoped she wouldn't wake my girls). I heard a man playing his guitar and singing in the hallway or lobby but that was pleasant and I tried to focus on the music rather than the loud complainer next door, to help me fall asleep. :) Very nice staff, great food, and overall wonderful visit. I recommend this hotel for your family to stay at.

Very clean. Beds were good, not too hard or soft. The only negative was someone stumping, which is not the hotel's issue. Enjoyed our stay.
