We laid our mother to rest in January. These people could not have been more professional or caring. We had over 150 people attend the funeral and viewing on the same day. They handled everything from the casket, instructions on where to park for the car procession, to the mass at St. Mary's Cathedral. They're wasn't any stress on the family and since the family was very emotional, there was not much that was needed for us to do. It was very effortless and eased of minds.

Even at the funeral home when the music wasn't what was anticipated, Carmine was kind enough to let us use the in house Pandora to look up mom's favorite type of music from her country and her fave artist. It made things more of a celebration, instead of a sad goodbye. And that's what mom was, she was festive and loved life. This was exactly what she would have wanted. She looked very nice with her fave dress on and the flower arrangements were perfect. I only wish I had been able to set up a video thru the il chromecast they have set up, but I didn't think it thru before the funeral.

We requested additional bereavement and prayer cards and when I asked how much, they said there was no charge. That says a lot because they know were still grieving and they gave taken care of our family. It's very much appreciated and we thank them for their service. I would recommend them for anyone that's lost their loved one.

Frank and Sarah are the most wonderful and caring people that I could have trusted to care for my son. They're very professional and kind and they were able to work with me on a tight budget and it was the most beautiful service for my 4 month old. I'm so grateful for them

We are so appreciative of Sarah and Brenna Funeral Home for helping us with the arrangements and cremation of our daughter. This has been a very shocking and difficult time in our lives. We are very thankful for the help, compassion and professionalism. We highly recommend working with this compassionate group.

Our family has known Frankie, the owner and his business for many years now and have always had an exceptional experience. We most recently lost our beloved Mother and of course called on Brenna Funeral Home, and Frankie to handle her services from start to finish. Once again he, and his entire staff had the most beautiful service for her. Frankie is so professional, kind, caring and handled all her arrangements beautifully and so graciously. We all felt so comforted and at peace. Thank you again Frankie, you are so appreciated. We know our Mother was shining down! The entire Massi Family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.

After losing my Mother in law and Mother in the span of one month, we were so pleased by the excellent service provided by Frank Immordino, Carmen Huber and their staff. Service is not really the right word since their caring, kindness and attention to detail were so personal it felt like we were being assisted by family and friends. They were able to make my mom and mother in law look years younger, back to their appearance before they became ill. From the funeral arrangements to the burial service they were always available and responsive to any questions or requests we had.

A little history about Frank Immordino,he IS Brenna Funeral Home. Frank ran Brenna Funeral Home for years after the older Brenna and Dan Brenna inherited the business if it was not for frank Immordino the Brenna name would be Dead (no pun intended). Danny Brenna was no businessman in any sense of the word. I knew Danny did work for him he was the first to admit he could not do a better job than Frankie. Frankie carried the Brenna legacy long after Danny died and still does today. Frank is THE most respected man I know, generous well respected in the industry.

Frank Immordino was so respectful of our family and their needs. The new facility on Klocker Rd. was beautiful and our loved one was treated with dignity. Anything we asked for was made available to us and we could not be more pleased. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion! The o'Loughlin, Wood and Scarlata Families

Frank was so wondeful in handling arrangements for my dad's viewing. The funeral parlor is beautiful. Thank you Frank Immordino.

I had unusual circumstances surrounding a loss and was recommended here. I understand this (private) situation was a first for them, yet I felt like my situation was made further traumatic through the responses I received from everyone I spoke to. I initially called to follow up on an email, and when I asked if I could have a couple questions answered I was told “uh, there is no one here to answer them.” I remember wondering if I should proceed since it felt so odd to have my call picked up to be told no one can help, but decided to continue pushing through to speak to someone and trust the recommendation. Overall, as I continued talking to people, I felt as though I received very little sympathy. A director (who was returning a call on behalf of a different director who actually knew the situation) even argued with me about the circumstances surrounding my loss. This person claimed I was “wrong” about the details and I ended up having to break down how the loss occurred step by step. It was pretty upsetting and I am extremely grateful that the primary bereaved parties were not present for this conversation. This ultimately led to me deciding to look elsewhere.
I completely understand there was a lot of confusion and miscommunication. I wasn’t sure the best way to navigate this either and I was lost myself. I typically give a lot of grace to people… yet I would’ve appreciated a bit more tact surrounding such a delicate and heartbreaking time. There were points where I felt heard, but they were few and I felt like a massive bother.
I hope this is a one-off negative experience, especially upon seeing such positive reviews. I can’t disclose my situation for privacy reasons, but I am compelled to discuss it generally in case someone out there is trying to grieve a loss that doesn’t have a lot of information out there about navigating post-loss arrangements. This may not be the place for patience and understanding complicated losses.

EDIT BELOW FOR CLARITY RE: OWNER RESPONSE

I want to be crystal clear about how this review was not at all about them being unable to legally provide a service. I did not even mention it and I’m honestly uncomfortable seeing that I was recognized and more details were referenced about our specific case that I was being intentionally vague about. The legal and official matters are not at ALL considered in this review. That is completely understandable and I don’t fault them for it whatsoever.
My review was entirely based on interaction — the lack of tact, the arguing that I was wrong about how a loss occurred, and how I had to walk them through it graphically beyond a simple “this is the situation.” I have been asked to not explicitly name the circumstances by the parties involved and I will honor that. My whole point is that this was an incredibly difficult time in my life and I sensed very little understanding and warmth. I am glad to read they aspire to be better, I hope they are!
